Lakers at Suns Game Thread

That line-up looked pretty good when they blew the Cavs out this week. I do agree with you on the first week of the season - it is hard to say how good/bad teams really are until they've played 10-15 games.

One thing I can say is that Shaq looks bad and I don't see the Heat being a real contender even when Wade returns. The Wiz and Nets are overrated...the Cavs will struggle. The Raps and Pacers will be better than people thought. Orlando...we'll see.

b) Shaq may look bad - I agree, but Wade will at least get that team to the playoffs.

you keep saying the games are often close - we beat you by an average margin of 12 ppg - that ain't close D-Dog. And one of those games that I won't put up there is the 9 point win last year where we were pummeling you by 27 and then rested everyone in the fourth. You probably remember that - it was your last game of the season. Kinda a repeat of the previous season.

Pay attention cheese...I have said many times that the games are close late. You may end up winning by ten, but with 3 minutes left, the games are usually very tight, lakers up one, you up one, tied, etc. The Lakers get KILLED by the Suns late in the fourth. Almost every time.

You should know, as well as anyone, that ten point games don't mean someone lost by ten...often they missed a possesion to tie and are forced to foul, and miss and foul, and miss and foul. 3 point games balloon to 10 very quickly.

A sure sign of accepting losing is when you attempt to rationalize losses with the incessant "well, you should have beat us by more - but you didn't"... I would say that this is sad, however, you appear to be ok with the losing so perhaps it's not so sad after all...
