Solid? Every single song?

Rubber Soul or Pet Sounds.
"Drive My Car" :pullhair: is in a close race with "Birthday" and "Back in the USSR" for my most despised Beatles songs. For that reason alone I cannot lump Rubber Soul with other albums where every song is "solid."

I didn't say every song had to be solid; just that the album as a whole was solid :(

Cracked Rear View was good.

I'll have to check out Continuum. I didn't care for Heavier Things very much, so I just didn't buy any more after that, but now I may have to :)

Not even the trees & goodbye are awesome songs.

I liked Continuum a lot. Give it a listen.

The Black Keys' "albums" are solid. I just bought Thickfreakness. Good all the way through.

I see you keep giving me crap for "album". What would you have preferred?

Does Itunes use the term album?
Yes.

I think album is the right term. It doesn't refer to vinyl, it refers to a compilation of songs released together. NOw, if were were calling them "records," that'd be something different entirely.

Just found out (two seconds ago) Urbandictionary's definition of snarfblat is objectionable. I was using "snarflat" in the Little Mermaid sense. Just so you know.
Yeah, and in the Little Mermaid, it's SNARFBLAT.

:p

I knew what you were talking about, you B&B hater.

Am I the only one that doesn't like John Mayer?

As a musician you'd think I'd be a huge proponent of such a skilled, educated guitarist, but I find his playing to be in the cold, corporate Berklee style (that's what happen when you attend that school and actually graduate). I can't stand his whispery voice and his hooks are redundant. His songs are as interesting as stale movie popcorn.

I think the John Mayer Trio Live recording with Steve Jordan and Pino Paladino was very good.

Adele's newest is pretty darn good.

And John Mayer is a douche but I do enjoy his music (even if some think it sounds like stale popcorn ;) )
