The Suns have made themselves an easy target for the media, and regardless of who actually is at fault the media will just assign blame to the team with a track record of dysfunction. The only thing that has separated the Suns from the Kings is in recent years is that the Suns weren't getting turned down by top draft picks working out for them, though I won't be surprised if that starts happening.

Sure, we've definitely helped kill our image.

here's my hope... my hope is that we actually did COMPLETELY bungle this trade and that silver can use that as the straw that broke the camel's back and can use it to somehow push Sarver out.

I am really beginning to believe Memphis did this on purpose.

1 because they thought we would cave to avoid the embarrassment

2 they probably hate Sarver like everyone else and wanted to screw him.

Is ANYONE blaming the Suns for this except some Suns fans?

you mean... besides ESPN, and everyone else on Twitter? Right now, Woj is literally just said at the very least there was miscommunication between the Suns and Grizz. So, yes, some are putting at least some of the blame on the Suns and Woj said he's never seen anything like this happen.

so, now that I answered your response which answered my question with a question, can you answer my original question... what has been posted as "FACT"? There's been a bajillion different reports.

This is where I'm at. I have no faith things will ever get better under current ownership, only hope is they continue to screw up in such impressive and public ways that the pressure to sell increases.

I actually wouldn't completely dismiss this as out of hand. I mean, you'd think any team with a brain would at least THINK about trying to take advantage of our dumpster fire.

Yeah right, wish it was that easy.

me too! maybe they can do it because if we really were at fault here, that we just completely screwed up three teams locker-rooms and in the process showed other team's front office's cards in what they value their own players at?

I'm trying to look for the (Adam) Silver-lining here!

I don't think so.

Maybe the Commissioner puts some pressure on the Grizzlies to complete the trade.

A few minutes ago, I posted the same thing to the Evaluating James Jones thread.

I had posted it there because I don't blame Jones for any of this. He is absolutely unqualified for the job (which he half & unofficially holds).

The blind leading the blind.

Here is more information supporting the Suns. I don't think this trade is going away. From my perspective the Suns are in the right.
