Bottom line, an NBA three team trade blew up over Dillon Brooks!

Here is more information supporting the Suns. I don't think this trade is going away. From my perspective the Suns are in the right.

How do you deal with Memphis ever again if some of these reports are true?

me too! maybe they can do it because if we really were at fault here, that we just completely screwed up three teams locker-rooms and in the process showed other team's front office's cards in what they value their own players at?

I'm trying to look for the (Adam) Silver-lining here!
Sarver is 30% owner of the Suns. The best shot of removing Sarver would be the other owners coming to the conclusion that Sarver is not effective or detrimental to their investment and removing him as managing general partner. I wonder how the ownership docs are worded and if it could be done.

I wouldn't if they tried to do a switch until they have a new GM. The Commissioner should be all over this.

Because it was James Jones doing the deed. As a coach you say, "You know I love you. It's management."
Tweets seem to name Sarver, not Jones. Anyway, the coach, any coach, is perceived as an extension of management.

I can see other execs AND players looking at this week and wondering if they themselves could play for such a club.

I've been out all evening and am just now reading this. So, for the record, I would have been okay with Rivers. He was actually pretty decent with the Clippers last year.

It sounds to me like the Suns/Grizz were clear on Dillon but the Grizzlies told Washington something else.

I agree.

From what I understand the Suns talked to the Grizzlies about Dillon Brooks... never MarShon. It's hard to get that confused.

David Griffin treated us well tonight too, blamed it more on media jumping the gun before the league phone call took place.

Like trades are constituted at the last minute. Do you have a link.

Here is my theory. Suns and Memphis have been negotiating for a week about Dillon Brooks but get no conclusions. Washington starts working on a three way. The Wizards ask what it would take to get it done. Suns say they would do it if Memphis will trade Brooks. Washington calls Memphis and asks for Brooks to be included. Memphis asks which one. Washington says Marshon. Memphis says “Heck yeah. We will do that.” It gets reported before the misunderstanding can be figured out.

Everyone is telling the truth from their perspective.

I guess we will find out tomorrow. About to call it a night.

The thing is, the Suns talked to the Grizzlies for a week about Dillon Brooks. This would seem disingenuous on their part.
