But, the lack of communication from Keebali and the fact that the admins of this board ignore the situation is beyond disturbing to me.

You might try PMing alan_we -- he pops in every few days for whatever reason. It's a workday right now in Tel Aviv, give it a shot. We never got another designated tech of our own after Daniel, the first tech, left the job.

I mean, we know vBookie somehow doesn't mesh well with whatever their underlying base programming is, but it seems bizarre that it can't be fixed after all this time. I assume it's a program that's widely used elsewhere?

No, I'm not so sure Alan_we does look at specifics, O -- I sort of imagine he just sticks a head in the door a few times a month to make sure we haven't floated off on an asteroid, and assumes someone else he's paying, is paying attention to details -- He seemed very unaware of a couple significant issues until I poked at him. (Keep in mind, Keebali is just a rich man's hobby, not where he makes his real money. We are like A$FN dollars - play money.)

I've had pretty decent luck PMing him a couple times in the past, though, when there was a big deal going on or when I personally had an ongoing, unresolved problem.

But I am curious -- is vbookie a widely-used program that doesn't normally have problems?

btw, it just occurred to me -- Israelis are infamously bad about responding to emails. I know it's weird for a place that developed so much of the technology, but it's definitely true. Probably because they're on their phones all the time.

Looking for a phone # is proving impossible.

Thats what I thought too.. I thought he was the go to guy.. The buffer.. But now he only hits the contact button like everyone else? What was all the big hub bub about then if everyone could do what he does?

I believe he has an email address to someone that they ignore just like everything else.

My understanding is that he requested access to the vbookie admin part of the site (so he could work on this sort of problem), but was told no; that they couldn't single out just that part to give him access to, and didn't want to give him full access.

Wouldn't be surprised if the email address he has is the same addy that the contact us gets forwarded to, lol. But that's just my supposition.

I wouldn't say that I have been ignoring the situation. I have suggestions to remedy the situation, but no real authority to enact any of these changes. My communication with Keebali has also been ignored.

I know more about the program, because I have seen it in use on other forums. Again, I have no real authority to change things. If I did, I would reset everyone's account and limit the amount that could be bet on any given event. Until the programmer fixes the quadrillion fix (if ever) we will continue to have issues.
