Who would have told Jurecki this?

Michael?
Keim?
Horton?
Turner?
An agent?

Who (other than Norv or his agent) would stand to gain from this leaking out?

Jurecki pulls crap out if his, the air, and throws it against the wall to see if it will stick.

Jurblechy. Nuff said. While I'd love this, I trust nothing from the Cardinals Outsider.

IMO if Michael thinks Horton is the "RIGHT GUY" to be the HC, he should hire him!!!

Who's to say an offensive coach like say McCoy is going to turn around the offense before 2-3 years anyway, given the putrid talent at QB, RB & Oline. An offensive coach could totally ruin this defense in the process too...Horton has basically done something I've never seen in my lifetime...a legit NFL defense than can win games!

IMO if Horton doesn't get this job it will be a huge mistake:mad::bang::mad::bang:

That's just it. He MAY be the right guy in their opinion, IF he can bring on an acceptable OC.

As it stands at the moment apparently he's not the right guy. The co coordinators are a huge part of any hiring.

Again, Jurecki is right more often than he is wrong

He knows many people in that building

Over the course of a Four hour show, he will also speculate -- but on stuff like this, he is pretty good.

Unless we make a trade for a legit QB & the entire Oline is revamped, I think you guys are banking on miracles in 2013 regardless who the OC is.

I don't think it would take a miracle to get an Offense that could score 17 pts per game. We can win games with that.

I'm not expecting the team to all of the sudden be good on offense, but I do think that if they make some upgrades on the line and in playcalling that they could be a half way decent offense. Also draft a QB high while hanging onto Kolb and Hoyer and they could be in a much better situation as far as QB is concerned.

His insider connections ebb & flow depending on who's the coach. He enjoyed most favorite nation status when Coach Mac was HC, but his insider leverage has never been that good during the Denny and Wiz regimes. As for now, mensa-mensa.

Another angle to any possible Horton/Turner tandem: There's something to be said in favor of having a senior person like Norv on staff with head coaching experience for Horton to draw upon when needed.

They were last in the league on offense, they couldn't score any ponits. It doesn't take much to improve.

The twits are now saying Turner will now go to Cleveland with their new head coach.

Horton might want to come up with a back up-back up plan to impress the brass. Or Keim and Mikey might just keep shopping. I still never heard anything juicy on the McCoy meeting either. Starting not to check webs sites as much as I did last week, the "excitement" for a new hire is wearing off. Our offense needs some serious help, might be time to go back and look at some college talent. I gotta Kirby vacuum cleaner, and it does the job great, but that's the only Kirby I know.

At least the cards aren't rushing into a decision. There are good candidates out there, but bad ones too.

Failure to get competent staff will ruin, for several years, any chance we have of being a contender. I'm glad they're being careful.

I'm not banking on miracles, but I think we can improve from 32 in total offense to about 25th with good play calling and some draft picks on the OL. If we can get a legit QB then we can get top 16.
