I'm not banking on miracles, but I think we can improve from 32 in total offense to about 25th with good play calling and some draft picks on the OL. If we can get a legit QB then we can get top 16.

Totally agree. Add to that our defense is good enough to make our offense look better than it really is.

I though the snail left town...geesh.

5 of 8 coaching vacancies have yet to be filled....with what's out there, there really isn't any reason to rush the process.

I still think our offense will be putrid next year even if we had McCoy or Don Coryell calling the plays! All these great offensive minds without QBs just keep getting fired because they forgot how to coach...right!

I'm hoping we can get an offensive mind which will help the staff locate the all elusive franchise QB

Hey, you never know who that QB will be...at this time last year for Seahawks and Redskins fans it was likely Tarvaris Jackson and Rex Grossman...

His insider connections ebb & flow depending on who's the coach. He enjoyed most favorite nation status when Coach Mac was HC, but his insider leverage has never been that good during the Denny and Wiz regimes. As for now, mensa-mensa.

Another angle to any possible Horton/Turner tandem: There's something to be said in favor of having a senior person like Norv on staff with head coaching experience for Horton to draw upon when needed.

Getting real facts on the net boards like us is like pulling wisdom teeth. Mostly we read what any of us are free to post with no backup what so ever. If I hate Norv Turnner I am free to call him anything I want and some may actually believe it. That is the way of the internet. I do take some notice when a guy like Mitch, Jurecki, or other guys who make their living at this submit post. They may not be right but are in a position much better than most of us to know things we do not know. That does not make this board any less fun it just makes it like most boards like this. A place to vent and to hopefully be heard across the nation and have fun. In my long life time I have known one head football coach in the NFL well enough to make a comment about him as I saw him nearly every day of the year. He was my college football coach at Coe College of about 1000 students. He was Marv Levy and now in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Sort of strange for such a small college but Bill Fitch who was on my basketball team I played with coached in the NBA for I think as long as any HC in the NBA. He started off coaching high school in Iowa but obviously went far. A real nice guy and just a fair basketball player.
