I and Red Desert were the ONLY ones on the board screaming for Warner over Leinart the year of the Super Bowl. Resorting to hyperbole is a desperate measure.

Yeah sure ok. All of those BSP comments and threads must have been by someone else.

Ill help you out here a little Mitch. There were more than just you two. Molker was on the 2008 KW bandwagon and many others. IIRC the board was split 60/40 matt/kurt

You're right TJ. Mokler was on it too. So was Skkorp, if I recall correctly. My bad.

I stand by them all. I still believe that if BSP had been healthy, he'd still very much in the mix right now. But, I'll take the hit on that one.

Not true at all. My father and I were both part of the originally adamant Warner supporters.

This is so you to cheapshot K9.

Let me tell you all you need to know about K9.

Last year before the draft he told me I was idiot for predicting that more than 11 QBs would be drafted. We bet an Arizona Cardinals shirt from the Pro Shop on it.

15 QBs were drafted.

Besides a lame cover-up excuse ridden mention of losing the bet when someone posted to call him out on it, I never heard from the guy. Not one PM. Nothing. Says alot about him.

A bet is a bet, and the loser pays up.

I'm with you there, Mitch.

You could have explained that in a PM...the problem is you have very little integrity. You've got a big mouth that you don't and cannot back up.

On a lighter note, you are a year late on the 2008 NFC Champ celebration (avatar, headline, sig).

;)

You're right, TJ. I changed it today and thought I would reminisce to the happiest Cardinals' moment ever. Imagine if we ever won the Super Bowl?

The Vortex!
Calm down!
This is worse then a P&R discussion.
What did you think would happen with a thread like this Mitch?
Matt is not going to be traded!
Unless Matt has a catastrophic meltdown, which I don't see happening, he will be starting.
DA will be #2, Skelton will be #3.

Yes, I will bet on it!

a few thoughts:

1. the play of the two QBs relative to starting offensive lines is exactly the same as Whis did last year -- when Warner was the clear cut #1. Whis promised Anderson an opportunity when he signed here, and is keeping his word.

2. Leinart also played into the 2nd quarter. He stayed with both to try to get the offense going.

3. With Whis' contract extension and performance the last two years -- he is officially immune to any coercion from Rod Graves. If Whis didn't want Leinart, he would be gone already.

4. So Derek Anderson led a furious passing comeback rally against the Cardinals after going down a couple scores. That makes him exactly like pretty much every other QB in the league. Based on that, we are trading for David Garrard.

Actually Whis wanted to get rid of Leinart after the SB even going to the point of paying BSP a milion bucks. But St.Pierre was so horribly inept that they had no choice to but to keep Leinart.

;)

In all seriousness, I just hope Mitch is wrong about this one because our season depends on it.

I know I still owe you a shirt. I'm sorry if it's been a hard summer for me and my family. Thanks for being a jerk about it.

Maybe I'll start a thread telling everyone that I'm leaving. And then I'll do another one. Then another.

If you made a bet with Mitch, pay up. I'm sorry for your situation, but you have had a year do so.

According to Urban, Toast threw a 45 yard "beautiful" bomb to Breaston over McBride today.

Sorry to rebut your argument, Donald, but as Cris Carter pointed out about the play...was that the ball should have been thrown sooner and faster...which would have enabled Fitz to juke the safety. He's right about that.

Warner was great at this kind of timing...obvioulsy he sacrificed it with Q on a desperation 4th quarter pass in NY...which is why Warner contemplated retirement afterward.

If that pass had been thrown sooner and faster(harder?) the only person who could have caught it was the Texans safety. Fitz barely got to the ball as it was. What Carter should have said was that the pass needed to be thrown closer to Fitzgerald's break and that the spot the Cards wanted the ball to go to was faulty. Then he might have been correct.

Haha this thread is awesome. Hopefully this becomes HOF worthy. I love when Mitch gets looney.

I may be in denial here but I just don't see how Lienart's capable of inspiring his team mates as a leader when he come's on the field to play. Can you truly say, "he's a gamer" and plays at a high level? Why do we always have to make excuses for him? Each season we hope that he steps up and play and proves the nay sayers wrong, I'm still waiting but running out of patience.

K9 maybe you shouldn't have made the bet if there was doubt about being able to pay.

Mitch there is no need for you to resort to name calling
