ESPN just had a 2nd breaking news story, Leinart passed John Navarre on the depth chart from his bathtub at home.

For all the crap PFT gets. They have let out some very good stories before anyone else has reported it over the last year or 2 or so. I dont think they are nearly as bad as a lot of other poeple think.

I check PFT before any of the major NFL site (ESPN, CNNSI etc.).

Their are usually reporting stories faster than any other sites and are much better at reading between the lines. (breaking down contracts etc.)

There are still lots of rumors on the site, but they make it VERY clear when they are reporting a rumor, that it is just a rumor.

Updating previous reports, the Arizona Cardinals have officially announced the signing of rookie QB Matt Leinart, a first-round draft choice, to a six-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed by the team.

-Leinart was watching Talladega Nights last night, got a text from the agent
-went down to the cards facility at 9:30 pm to sign the contract
-went to the doctors early this morning for the physical
-is on his way up to flag right now
-will be here sometime around the end of the morining practice
-press confrence will be held
