For 4m bucks hes a steal. We should claim him or watch him wreck havoc when he joins the bucs, pats, hawks or steelers.

I'm no Fournette fan but even I can see that for $4m and a possible comp pick next year he's a steal for somebody.

I'd be amazed if he gets as far as us on waivers. The Redskins for one could really use him. The Dolphins could use him. He could replace Melvin Gordon at the Chargers.

Fournette is more talented than Drake ever could dream of being.
Somebody is going to get a steal.

I’m guessing New England.

Nowdays rb's can be easily replaced so I won't draft any of them high and won't pay them more then 6 for year

After that I think Drake has everything to be at the same level of Fournette or even better

I doubt we'll snag him. I'm mixed to as if we should, but if we can get him at a value...

Drake: Four really nice games out of 8, in a brand new offense. Not bad.

3 really nice games, one against a team whose spirit was crushed already.

4 years, 62 career games, 5 100 yard rushing efforts. Five.
Yea I like my RBs with a lot of thread on their tires & averaging sub 4 YPC in 2020 too.

I don't watch the Jags or Fournette much. I don't find him interesting to watch to be honest. But from what Ive seen he seems like a guy that gets a big 40 yard run once a game that pads his stats and hides the fact he got 3 yards on every other attempt.

Then why did your friend who is a Jags insider waive him? Or I guess the team for that matter?

Listen, I don't love Fournette, but the guy literally just had a 1,100 yard season with a 4.3 YPC on a bad team, and caught 76 balls. His career average is 4.0 YPC.

Both of his healthy seasons, and his college career, crush anything Drake has ever done. With Kenyan Drake we're hoping and praying we've spent $8 million on whatever his four good games were last year, and hoping a guy who has never been the full time starter suddenly can be. Fournette would be a cheap and proven insurance policy.

I wouldn't suggest signing the guy to a multi-year deal to be "the guy," but we're about 10 days from week 1 and counting on a full season from Kenyan who is nearing a return to practice after being in a boot.

Kenyan Drake:. 23 TDs on 600 touches.

Leonard Fournette: 17 TDs on 800 touches.

Fournette would be an AWFUL fit in this offense. Awful. He is an old school I back who lacks lateral agility.

Anyone who even considers him for the Cardinals has virtually no understanding on how players fit in Kingsbury's offense.

Fournette is a very limited player. Good at running straight ahead, power running schemes, and that's it.

How many seasons has Leonard Fournette missed a game?

All three, including missing half a season his sophomore year.

You do realize he would be horrible in Kingsbury's scheme?
