Cardinal running backs haven't set the world on fire, but the offensive line has been bad at BOTH run blocking and pass protection. It sounds like Bruce Arians is well aware of the problem and will be addressing it. I just hope he and Steve Keim aren't delusional enough to think all it takes is more and better coaching. A talent infusion is also most definitely in order.
True, but they averaged over 4 yards per carry 2010 and 2011 which is the first time in years that a Cardinal offense has done that for two consecutive seasons.
On the other hand there were several instances of 20 yard runs followed by 5 one yard runs and they seldom seemed to be able to do anything in short yardage situations.
