at least you are not a fan of the texas rangers....they are a feeder team. too bad MLB doesn't do like the EPL and demote the bottom flight teams to the minors. because the rangers have been nothing more than a feeder team actually getting away with these type of cash cleaning moves for years now. no wonder tom hicks had to sell. I feel bad for liverpool. he might tank a team that is traditionally an english power if they aren't careful.

I know suns fans are frustrated, but it could be worse. The biggest problem is like in baseball when you make a dumb financial move(ala the Arod contract) because of guaranteed contracts you pay dearly and have to be willing to lose money if you are gonna give up on a guy. Like the suns with marion, the mavs went through this with michael finley when cuban had to just bite the bullet and cut his losses. If you can't recover in other areas and keep the seats full you will spiral out of control. the suns need to keep amare if at all possible or things could get ugly.

guaranteed contracts are a big issue in pro-sports. the players association of each sport want guaranteed contracts hence we have potential strikes every decade or so. But I think guaranteed contracts makes it worse for the fans/owners. we've seen that one bad contract can ruin a team or hinder progress.
