This is another entertaining show, a lot of fun and good characters.

So far NBC is getting me hooked on a lot of shows..Heroes, Chuck, Journeyman, Life and Friday Night Lights. About the only new NBC show that I've seen that really isn't holding my interest is Bionic Woman.

yep and the tree sitter was the hotel guy from deadwood as well

this show has a lot of people that you can place in their other roles
The tree sitter and hotel guy is Larry of Larry, Daryl and Daryl fame, i.e - Bob Newhart Show.

Roman, the Russian creep on last night's show (Oct. 24th) has also been on Deadwood, where he actually played two different characters: He was the guy that shot Wild Bill early the first season, and then played a guy; second season, I think; that enjoyed slicing up prostitutes. Iirc he got fed to the pigs the second time around.

My guess is that Life has got either the same producer, casting executive, or director as Deadwood had.

Regarding Life : best show of the new shows. Well written, many layers, with numerous sub-plots.

I just got caught up. I hope it comes back as strong as it finished.

Detective Crews is a great character.

Wife and I were discussing this the other day. We still think John Locke is the best character on TV today, but Crews has risen to No. 2 on our list. Also like Adam Baldwin's role on Chuck.

I wrote a blog reviewing this show a few days ago, but I agree with you guys, he's great...not sure if he's #2, but definitely up there.

I like Alec Baldwin on 30 Rock a lot.

I like Crews a lot, I haven't watched Lost since the first season so I can't say I really agree with Locke...I love all the characters on Chuck--Chuck & Morgan especially, I also think Matt Saracen & Coach Taylor fron FNL are great chracters too(and Dexters great too but he's a cable TV guy).

NBC really has my viewership between Chuck, Journeyman, Life, 30 Rock, Scrubs and Heroes.

Life is back! Awesome.

My DVR is full on Mondays between Heroes, Chuck, Life and Terminator.

I have to DVR this show because my wife can't get past the actor who plays Crews and his performance in the movie "Dreamcatcher". She can't stand him because of it.

Kinda watched the end of last season and have started watching now.

I like the show and the Crews character.

But I'm still a little lost when it comes to that young girl.

I know that he was setup and went to prison, by his partner's dad?

But the rest of what is happening in that storyline I don't fully grasp.

Anybody wanna help me along?

The girl is the daughter of the family that he was framed for murdering. In the last season, he figured out she hadn't been killed, and solved that end of the mystery.

Good midseason finale.

Though I swear the cellmate guy said something about being shot with air still hurts.

Anyway, one of the last couple episodes (I think the reservation episode) had the opening scene with Sarah Shahi in her skivvies with a sucker in her mouth, hottest thing I'd ever seen on tv.

Then she climbs atop Donal Logue. What a lucky dude to have that role.

Sexy scene to say the least...was HOT.

This is one of my favorite shows, so glad it's still going. It's always clever, fresh and funny...good stuff.

Agreed. The cast is solid and Damian Lewis is fantastic. (He's not even American, didn't know that until I went to his imdb page today)

They mix just the right amount of his past with the crimes he solves (sure some of them are linked) to keep the show going and to develop the plot.

Life On Mars could take a few pointers here.

Any truth that Life will not make it out of this season?

EW said is was safe for the season. Hopefully it will pick up ratings how that it is not on terrible night anymore.

Life ratings have been flagging all season, but mostly because NBC (a) teamed it with Lipstick Jungle (b) teamed it with Bionic Woman (c) changed nights three times.

One of its positives is it has an international following. It's a top-rated show in Australia!

Great episode tonight, great season finale!
Unfortunately, I think tonight was also the series finale.
If this was it, I'm okay with it.
Most of all I will miss seeing;
