Would you turn down the opportunity to play qb and make money doing it? I feel bad because his football days are over. Football is probably his life and now it's done. As a human being, yes, I feel bad for him as a person- not a professional NFL qb. That's not stealing. Pete Carroll does that

I don't understand how this guy was supposedly so great at SDSU. He set records in college. I understand the NFL competition is a totally different ballgame, but c'mon....he can't even make an accurate throw to an uncovered receiver when there is no defensive pressure on him. Surely he was able to make simple accurate throws when he was such a hot shot in college...right now he would have to improve quite a lot just to suck.

Bruce Arians said Kerwynn Williams didn't play much Sunday bc he's "not the best pass blocker" and packages fit Grice, Taylor better.
WTF I am a huge BA fan... but SERIOUSLY WTF.. guy has been a spark plug to your offense and you don't let him carry the ball on run downs cuz he can't pass block.

I'm sorry but any gameplan that has this clown throwing the ball 40 something times against the best D in the league is just WRONG! We should have ran the ball and try to play a ball control game and not tire our D out, well we did the opposite resulting in huge plays being given up and a tired D late when the game was still within on score! Terrible gameplan by BA and terribly executed by lindley, honestly should be cut tomorrow!

We should give Stoney Case a call. Even at the age of 42, he has to be better than Lindley.
Lindley has now gone 225 attempts without a TD pass and boasts a robust 46.9 QB rating. The fact that he's been allowed to attempt 225 passes might be the most amazing part of that stat. The guy simply isn't a professional-quality QB.

I'll call it right now--Arians is an absolute moron for not going to LT. I'm not saying we win or keep it close with LT, necessarily, but come one. Lindley gave us no chance. NONE. 18-44 passing with a 47.2 QBR. Continuing to trot out an NFL reject that gives you absolutely ZERO chance to win is moronic.

The playing calling on the LT package drive was horrible. Not one run play there when there should have been 2 of them. That LT play was another horrible call. Why do that near the end zone??

We all knew this was going to happen with Lindley. The fact that Arians is playing catchup is disturbing. I mean the Next Man Up only works if the Next Man Up actually is someone who can play in the league. Lindley is not that guy.
Sign anybody....anybody at this point is a step up form Lindley.....even without knowing the offense. Clearly knowing the offense hasn't help Lindley a bit.

This is it in a nutshell. The bottom line is Ryan Lindley can not play QB at the NFL level...period...end of story.
It's too late to sign someone else. But my feeling is just play Thomas. He can't possibly be worse, and he just might be better.

No one else will be signed, just get that out of your heads, it will not happen. Lindley will probably start against SF too. Now don't be surprised if you see Thomas come into the game if Lindley continues to perform like he did last night. Sad part from last night was there were plays to be made and Lindley couldn't make them.
It would not have mattered who carried the ball last night. Seattle dared Lindley to beat them with his arm which Lindley proved was impossible to accomplish. I am convinced this team cannot win a game with Lindley as the QB. I also think the WRs did not help him early in the game by dropping passes that although they were not the best thrown pass still were in the catchable range.
The defense looked pedestrian last night. The CBs looked terrible and once again a no name TE put up career numbers.
With all this said the team still has a chance to win the division. A Ram win and a Cardinal win gives them the division crown. There is still a glimmer of hope. All that is needed is for spirit of Kurt Warner to move into Ryan Lindley's body for one game.
