Wilks is clueless, this is what you get for hiring a 1 yr coordinator whose only previous experience as a head coach was a losing season at Savannah State

At Atlanta, home against the Rams and then at Seattle.

Atlanta is not playing good football but they will probably find their rhythm next week, Rams could be a repeat of the first game and the Seahawks will probably need to win out to guarantee a playoff spot...3-13 here we come.

yeah we arent winning another game lol.

How can we be tied with the Niners since they beat us twice and we have the same SofS?

We beat them twice (I am sure you knew that)

But here are the NFL rules for determining draft order.

  • Overall ties are then broken by strength of schedule, which is a calculation of the combined record of all of a team\'s opponents in that year, with divisional opponents counting twice.
  • The next tie breaker would be record against conference opponents and then divisional opponents.
  • Coin flip will occur if tie still exists

Based on the rules...all 3 of our wins have been conference wins. The Niners beat Denver and Oakland and Detroit.

So we pick #2

We beat the Niners twice, but that is irrelevant.

  1. Strength of schedule, which is the combined win-loss record for all 16 of the team's opponents in the previous season (ties count as a half win and half loss). The team with the lower strength of schedule (i.e. their opponents compiled fewer wins) is granted the earlier pick in round one.
  2. Record in common games against division opponents (if the teams are in the same division).
  3. Record in common games against conference opponents (if the teams are in the same conference).
  4. Coin flip(s), which occur(s) at the pre-draft NFL Combine.
SoS is the same.
We are both 0-2 against Divisional Foes (Unless they are counting SF as a Division Opponent, then they easily win the tie-breaker)
We both have 1 win against Conference Opponents (Same as above)

Thanks, and I meant we beat them twice.

Love...praise the defense in one comment, then throw them under the bus, with the old missed tackle excuse.

It’s insanely confusing but the bottom line is that we are in the running to be considered to be the worst team in the league by statistical analysis, and get the number one pick in the draft. This would officially be a new low for the franchise in Arizona. Remarkable and groundbreaking

Well, if I recall, one of the TV announcers made the same observation, Sherfield should have come back.

Did the announcers praise The Gameplan? No, they were so disgusted that they could barely string together coherent sentences. The point is that Wilks praises his own Gameplan and takes no blame

Does he realize the defense only gave up 10 pts. today? And they talk about Hue Jackson being a nincumpoop?
