I overheard some dudes talking about this the other day. Anyone know anything about it? Sounded like they fill their cpu case up with water? Sounds like a weird combo, water and electirc circuits.

They work just like a radiator for your car, the water goes through tubes and cool your CPU and other components off. Been around for years

Yea the first (commercial) 1Ghz processor was a liquid cooled AMD athalon.

Basically there is a tank and tubes to transport the cooling liquid to the heatsink that sits on the processor. I have never set one up but I have seen them.

Processor spreed in limited by the heat it generates. The cooler you can keep the processor the faster it can run and the longer it will last.

It does sound like a mess if a hose broke or something. :|
