Yeah at least they have defeated city. For me City is more impressive than those other clubs because of what they are doing in such a tough league. But good luck to Liverpool. I’ll be pulling for them over the others.

I agree. We have an experience factor that we don't have with the other clubs.

Salah put up 4 today against Watford. 36 goals for the year and there are still at least 7 games to go. Insane.

Salah is a magic man. I really hope he stays in England. 2 months ago I would have said no way he’s the POY over Kane but now I give him the nod especially with Kane’s injury time.

Dear God, what a show! The announcers had a great point yesterday, in that they're worried the big boys of Europe will come in for Salah with the big money.

Apparently Liverpool only has a 180M Euro valuation. This was about a month ago. Hopefully they want more like 250M for him now if they do have to sell.

they need to keep him. if they sell him for any price they are nuts. I would say the same about spurs selling kane or city selling de bruyne.

Liverpool have said he isn't for sale in the summer and I believe he isn't.

I would sell him for Neymar numbers probably though.

That’s crazy to think how much Liverpool could make if that is the case. Not a Liverpool fan, But I hope he stays.

What an amazing half of football against the Premier League Champions in Man City. The best team in the world and Liverpool dominated them for 45 and played even with them for the other 45. We kept them from getting an away goal as well. One goal and/or one good defensive performance away from the semi finals of the Champions League.

I sincerely pray that the Salah injury was just precaution. Please PLEASE let this be a precaution.

Wow what a day!

That was an impressive win.

I can't remember the last time City was held to 0 shots on target. Zero. Unbelievable.

One goal at City and they have to score 5. I'm over the moon.

I don't even care too much about the Darby this weekend....

Yeah, but City at home...I wouldn't put it past them.

I wouldn't either. Liverpool better bring their A game. With Salah and Can a doubt and Henderson suspended, it could be pretty tough.

WOW WOW WOW. What a game. 2 legged tie that Liverpool thoroughly deserved.

Even more impressive is Roma beating Barca 3-0 at home to take the tie. WOW!

Liverpool were very, VERY lucky at the end of the first half. They came out much better in the second, but it probably should have been 2-0 at the break, making for a different 2nd half altogether. Still and all, Klopp made the adjustments, the players picked it up, and they earned it at the end.

Lots of luck for both teams. The clear foul wasn't called for Van Dijk and the Sane goal was probably onside.

Van Dijk was his own undoing. He wasn't fouled at first, stopped playing fully to gripe about it, and went down like a sack of potatoes when shouldered by a much, MUCH smaller player. A foul? It might have been, but no way was it going to get called after all that.

Otherwise, I agree--what a weird, entertaining game with plenty of luck to go around. And howay Roma!!!

He was off balance because he just kicked the ball. Anywhere else on the pitch besides the sideline and that gets called. Sterling's arm was fully extended and it was a clear shove. Anyone would fall down like that with only one foot on the ground.

Van dijk played his deli Ali card there. And there were some other dives if I recall.

Liverpool fortunate to escape the first half only one goal against. Was it Lovren that stopped a goal with his head lol! And Thank god there is no VAR. dreading the World Cup for it. In the end I give Liverpool credit they deserve. They’ve beaten City now 3 times if you just count the score straight up. City are dangerous but are showing their human side lately.

No way in hell is that a dive. Give me a break. There was CLEAR contact on Van Dijk.

He embellished it. I’m just calling it for what I saw just as Liverpool fans do the same when other sides do it. He’s a good player but that’s not the first time he’s made a questionable decision with the ball and it goes in the back of his net.

I only watched the second half, but man, does this match tell you exactly why West Brom are going down and why they should have done a lot better this season. If they hadn't been Pardewed, they might have had a chance.

Mo Sallah outscoring West Brom on the season thus far. Wow.
