Wonder if BA will tip his hat and let us know this week?
Thomas has more career TD passes than Lindley.
On the pregame show the NFL "expert" (who I can't remember his name) said BA told him he has put in a package of plays for LT. Lindley seems to be the guy but LT could be in in certain situations.
BA/Moore will have them as ready as they can. I'll take that any day.
Peter King just said the same thing on Sunday Night Football pregame show.
It makes sense to have Lindley start and be a game manager with LT coming in for a series here and there to mess with the Seahawks. I do agree with Karma though that the Seahawks should be very well prepared for the read option.
But IMO you don't tell the media your intentions, unless you're trying toger them to prepare for it & not do it
Not a bad thought, but Peter King was acting like it was secret breaking news. Maybe better said that he was the first to have this info and was very proud. King has been very supportive of the Cards so I doubt BA wants to burn that bridge with the media.
I guess my main point was don't be telling media your game plan. How many times have you heard a coach do that on the record?
They merely reported that LT would have special packages, didn't say it was at QB. Maybe he's our new TE. ☺

I don't see Arians modifying his offense that much to run 40-45 times in one game.Bottom line is we're gonna win running the ball 40-45 times. Logan at least gives us another person in the backfield that can pull the ball in and run. If Lindley has to put it up 25+ times, we're toast.
I don't care if we go Zone Read, just win.

He did last season @ Seattle and we won
Arians straight out said that Logan Thomas just wasn't ready. I take that to mean he hasn't mastered the routes/playbook yet. I think he believes in Thomas' ability, but hasn't learned the offense. You keep a 3rd QB for potential.. you start someone who knows the offense.
I don't like Lindley as a QB at all, but he'll be starting next Sunday.
what irks me is that if LT is not ready (as stated by BA) where is the damn signing already!!!!
we needed someone added to the roster FRIDAY!!!! in case Lindley goes down.
It wont be on the active roster, unless Stanton goes on IR.
If anything, it'll be a practice squad player. See: Dennis Dixon.
