Peter King just said the same thing on Sunday Night Football pregame show.

It makes sense to have Lindley start and be a game manager with LT coming in for a series here and there to mess with the Seahawks. I do agree with Karma though that the Seahawks should be very well prepared for the read option.

Yep, that's the guy. Totally drew a blank trying to remember his name yesterday. LOL

Ted Ginn is IN. I don't believe he has ever thrown an NFL interception. And why have Logan Thomas roll out when Ted Ginn can do that. (SF)

If I recall..... LT has a much better deep ball than Lindley....perhaps Lindley runs the game managing dink and dunk,...then LT comes in and throws sixty yards down field.....

lindley has to play like alex smith ,just short passes ,conservative plays no turnover, and in the same time rnning the ball,we need some tricky play

I hope BA/Moore has some magic pixie dust left in their sorcerer's bag.

If not, Seattle will win this division.

What if Seattle's own offense just plain sucks in this game. What if even the Cardinals have a better OL than they do. Their defense is all that, but their offense is not all that and then if one puts in the crowd noise it becomes even more apparent... our young QBs are just going to have to play conservative and I honestly expect a good game from our backs :)

my only fear with bringing Thomas in to run the ball is that Seattle is going to KNOW that's what's going to happen and play the zone-read better then most teams in the league because they practice against one of the best running that every week.

if Thomas DOES get in for a couple plays, I think BA has to try and surprise them with a pass on a couple plays.

Actually... who am I kidding? whatever BA wants with Thomas at QB I have to support. The guy has done the most incredible head coaching job this year I've ever seen. Gotta trust him unequivocally at this point.

I think if you are looking for a splash play to move the game, going read option look and having Thomas throw a bomb down the the field to John Brown or Floyd might be a way to do it. You have to pick your spots, but when you are on your 3rd QB, you have to get a bit gimmicky.

I could see BA putting Thomas in the game and having Lindley throw him a couple of swing passes, then later a lateral with Thomas tossing it 60 yds. down field to Smokey. Setup the Hags defense for this with the early swing passes.

I'd take a pizza box over Logan Thomas

He wasn't accurate in college and he's not accurate now....is he going to go get Manning DNA implanted? If not....he's a running QB who isn't accurate nor has any ability to read a defense.

I think the whole "4 week" of being out for Stanton reeks of gamesmanship. Mort breaking that news when everyone else has been so hush? Maybe its just wishful thinking but I wouldnt be surprised if Stanton somehow as able to play this Sunday (10 days after injury that is 1-3 week thing?).....after Seahawks have been game planning for Lindley/Thomas. I DEF think Stanton plays against SF but we will see.

As for Lindley/Thomas - I trust whomever BA chooses but I HOPE its Thomas. I see no upside at all to Lindley. He got his azz beat 58-0 last time they played. We really need to see that again?

Cmon Cards this Sunday is HUGE. Lets get this!

It was a grade 2....Look at what a grade 2 was for Fitz. It'll be the same 2-3 weeks.

Well see. Hes a QB so its different than running routes and keep in mind Fitz said he was ready to go the week after but BA kept him out.

Again this seems like mind games at the FO/HC level but maybe I am just seeing what I want to see.

But you also have to consider his right leg his his plant foot which allows a QB to throw with more velocity. I can't see Stanton being even suited up the next 2 games.

I am great with whatever BA does, but I am in favor of Thomas. He has been in the offense all year, and he is a much better runner. I would develop a game plan that includes a number of planned run plays for the QB. Watching the film of him running in college, he is an aggressive punishing runner and would open up the passing game that way. If he gets injured, bring in Lindley.
