Dont buy that for a second. Rosenhaus says there are MULTIPLE teams interested. So this article is false.

When you actually believe anything Rosenhaus says you can pretty much assume you're pretty gullible. Thats a negotiation tactic so other teams assume he's being pursued, and want to sign him sooner. Don't let Rosenhaus trick you...ever...lol

New Orleans is set at RB and I wish him better than that. Hopefully he catches on with a team that is desparate for a RB. ;)

Cincinnati, Tampa Bay, Seattle, and Oakland would be better places for him over New Orleans.

I wonder what happened? Rosenhaus said that times would be lining up for Edge!

It's a lateral move at best for James in New Orleans. He will have to catch the ball just as much or more there and with his rather pedestrian efforts in that area the last couple of years in Arizona I wonder if he'll really be getting as much playing time as he would have in Arizona?

I'm relatively sure he'll take a big pay cut and I know New Orleans isn't going to convert to a run-heavy offense. Rosenhaus sure seems to be screwing his clients a lot lately. I really can't see Edge being happy with playing less for less money.

Agreed. This offseason has been horrific for Drew Rosenhaus, and I doubt he is getting sympathy from any of his players whose names he drags through the mud with his antics, and "advise". Not to mention GM's are wise to his little games and also realize his clients are getting older, and many are not as badly needed as Rosenhaus and his clients think. And of course the fans who see him as the demon of the NFL.

Edge and Drew screwed up a good thing in AZ. I got nothing against Edge, and thank him for his services in AZ, but I thought it was a silly move to leave AZ. This was a good place for Edge to play out his days, but in Edge's mind he is ready to be an every down primary back. Unfortunately, that is not going to happen anywhere in the NFL.

Reggie Bush, RB, New Orleans SaintsMonday 5/25, 10:46 AM CT Head coach Sean Payton indicated that the Saints are no longer in the market for a power running back, according to the Baton Rouge Advocate.

Our View: Pierre Thomas is expected to lead the Saints as the No. 1 running back, with the more explosive Reggie Bush complementing him. Mike Bell could etch out a role as a short-yardage specialist as well. This news makes it seem less likely that the Saints will pursue Edgerrin James.
Not sure which reports to believe. Edge may be forced to wait for a RB to get hurt before he gets any kind of shot at a new team.

Or try to get on a team that's not so set at RB (Cincinnati, Tampa Bay, Seattle, or Oakland).

Oakland just drafted McFadden to be their premier back, TB signed Derrick Ward. I can see Cincinnati since their roster consists of Big 10 busts. Seattle might be too stubborn since the only rookie back they brought in was UDFA Devin Moore.

The others I can see but Oakland? They have McFadden, Bush and Fargas...Edge doesn't offer them anything more than those guys...Fargas & McFadden are faster--Bush is stronger.

That leaves Cincy and maybe Seattle as the only real options for him?

That's what Edge wants. He wants to be catching balls out of the backfield and has openly complained that the offense went away from him the past couple of years.

If NO plans on throwing to Edge, he will be more productive than he was here.

Similar to the Graves will have with you and nidan after the Cards let him go? :)

Actually Graves will go to work as Human Resources Manager for 40year's construction company if he leaves the Cards. He'll be in charge of negotiating the union contracts. :D
