This can't be real? The number 6 pick last year and number 11 this year for Lopez? Are they on crack?

Unlikely a realistic trade, but if it is, then yes! This would be good for Phoenix and for Robin. Maybe a change of scenery will wake him up from his state of cluelessness

I have a REALLY hard time believing this is legit. If it is, what a boon for the Suns. Udoh averages like 4 blocks per 48 and he could easily be the 2nd tier PF we need on this team to give, say, 14/9/2.5 alongside Gortat. Or he could be a backup to Biyombo (#11) and we could find a home for Warrick (or slide him to the 3). The Suns could get their guy Shumpert at #13 and we all of a sudden have a nice young core going into the future. Next year's priority goes to PG and SG, but we'd be set at the frontcourt.

Too good to be real....

The trade would not work salary wise without others being thrown in, but we have a few guys who don't play anyway that could be included. If there is any truth to this, it has to be a swap of picks so that the Suns could jump in front of Utah which would likely mean they are hoping to grab Jimmer. They say they want a PF and PG, well the scenario, if all went to plan would give them that. It might just kill me though.

Ok, let's just say G.S. is THAT stupid and gave us the 11 and Udoh for Lopez and fillers. I would be thrilled if the Suns walked away Thursday night with Udoh, Burks or Thompson, and Shumpert on the roster.

Well... Gortat and Siler are training with Hakeem, Lopez stayed home...

Did he? Hmmm. That is kind of odd. Maybe he's still hurting. I've had my fingers crossed since I heard about this rumor. They are starting to cramp.

Nash - Jimmer
Dudley - ?
Hill - Childress
Udoh - Morris
Gortat - Frye

No way the Warriors would give up their #11 plus the #6 pick in last year's draft (Udoh) for just Lopez (unless of course slinslin has been appointed as the Warriors new GM )

Pretty sure it's meant to be Lopez plus our #13 pick for Udoh and the Warriors #11....would make a bit more sense.

Suns would have to add more to that trade. Probably Dudley or a future pick..

at #11 and #13 they could draft Biyombo and Burks maybe. I just hope we don't pick Shumpert, especially over a talented young guy like Selby.

Maybe move #11, #13 for #2 or something...

from Coro's twitter:
Lopez for Udoh and #11 was discussed but did not get anywhere. It does show that the Suns are open to trading Lopez.

I really want to see how Lopez does against bench caliber centers with the Suns this year. Yall know me, I live smack dab in the middle of homer city, and Lopez could regain his confidence coming off the bench and maybe even get back to where he was at one point.

This is coming from the guy who named him Slowpez, Nopez, I had a million. I also see Lopez's trade value as doo doo right now. But if we can get the better end of a deal, Gortat pretty much plays the whole game anyways. I wonder how much playing time Silar would see this year, I'd love to know what kind of shape he is in.

If the Warriors were stupid enough to give up essentially 2 first round picks for a POS like Lopez I may actually quit them as my favorite team.

I thought most fans of the SUNS believed Lopez was a big factor in the team underachieving last season.

The Warriors F.O. does realize this is Robin and not Brook right?

As rumored....Lopez for Udoh and #11 is a bit far fetched IMO, and from numerous other forums agreed upon. I think if that is what was talked about, especially with Lopez's agent now on the Warriors staff, I think there would be more parts to it, i.e. us adding in the #13 or future 1st round pick. A deal I think might benefit both teams without Udoh, #13 or a future 1st would be Lopez and future 2nd for #11 and LOU!!! IMHO, I'd do a straight Lopez for #11.

You know if trading Lopez would cost us anything above swapping our first round pick it's probably not worth it. It seems like anytime the Suns trade a player we end up sending everybody and their brother our picks with a nice little bow.

There's no way Golden State does this, regardless of how weak the draft may be this year.

Agree. Trading Lopez to move up two spots to get a player we could have gotten anyway would be stupid. Lopez for the 11 is ok. It is not wise to devalue your own assets.
