Are the Suns really sending Devin Booker again to the lottery?

Why not send someone different like Al McCoy.

Why? The poor guy is in his 80's, maybe he'd like to take the summer off? And I'm fine with Booker, he has a great public personality and it shows him and the world who we're building around. There's nothing to be done there except sit around and look nice, Booker can do that far better than Ryan or Sarver or an 83 year old man.

The poor guy is in his eighties? Jeesh you ask him if he wants too...he says yes or no.

Frankly, they could send the suns Gorilla for all I care.

It's just a one night, two or three hour long thing. I doubt it would spoil any of Al McCoy's summer plans.

Besides if he doesn't want to do it fine but he seems like the type who would be honored to do it.

And I think sending our best player to the lottery every season isn't such a good idea. Feels like Booker can be the butt of many jokes among his peers such as "At least you can represent your team in the lottery year while we represent and play for ours in the playoffs" etc.

I don't think many or any other team in the league sends the same person every year to represent their team in the lottery.

Send McD. Dress him in a trench coat with hat and dark glasses, spy style.

And Devin is bringing a special Olympics kid with him who has gone through multiple cranial surgeries.

Booker wants to go to the draft and enjoys bringing a valley special needs kid with him. He did it last year too. He feels it is part of him being a member of this community and a role model for kids.

They sent Booker last year and no bueno. They should have sent Ulis, that guy is a walking good luck charm.

We need to win the lottery. Fultz is going #1 overall no matter who selects him.

Trying to prepare myself for disappointment. I would be happy with 1-3. 4-5 would be a real let down.

Am I the only one that read that article and then was relieved that the Suns weren't included?

Atleast we aren't in that boat.
I was kinda surprised we're not in that boat.

Their worried about playing time in Boston with IT & Smart but not in Phoenix with Bledsoe, Knight & Ulis? Or the Lakers with Russel & Clarkson?

I feel the same way. Top 3 is cool... Top 2 would feel like a big win because the suns would be guaranteed Jackson or Ball... their choosing. #4 is tolerable I suppose...#5..blah.

That is strange...the more we try to make sense of it all the more messed up it gets. Better off not caring as much and looking at the bright sides of stuff.

Its out of our hands boyz.
