Think of how silly it is if the Cavs got to draft Lebron AND Wiggins, with some other #1's thrown in over the decade.

Oh well. Just draft something like James Young, Adreian Payne, Elfrid Payton and a Euro big in the second round and I'll be happy.

how the hell do the Cavs keep getting the number 1 pick?!

if anyone ever wanted to maintain the NBA was rigged, that franchise getting a shot at this many number ones flies straight in the face of that.

There should be a rule that if you butcher the #1 overall pick one year, you're prevented from getting #1 in the following year's lottery.

sigh

At least the Lakers didn't move up.

It would be great if we got the Lakers pick next year and won the lottery with it.

Stupid Cleveland. Can't believe it... bummer, but they'll still suck.

if i'm cleveland, and LeBron loses this series, I might swing for the fences, deal that #1 pick for Kevin Love (with or without a contract extension) and try to entice Bron to come back with a new big 3 of Kyrie, LeBron and Love.

there will be enough time after the season and before the draft for them to talk to LeBron and Love "off the record" to make that deal happen and I think the Heat are done after this year. LeBron stays there and he ain't never winning another ring.

The Cavs have three more #1's in the last four years than the Suns have in the history of the NBA.

OK. This can be good. It starts the dominoes falling.

1. Cleveland gets the #1 pick
2. Miami loses to Indy or the Spurs (or Thunder, I don't care)
3. LeBron decides to go back to Cleveland because Wade is breaking down.
4. Bosh becomes available as a FA.
5. Suns sign Bosh.

Blegh! Bosh is a three point shooting, poor rebounding PF. we've already got one of those sadly at 1/3 the cost. we don't need another at 20 million bucks per.

I think it's a wasted effort. Besides the hard feelings, he's now had several years of living in Miami. How many people move back to Cleveland after having experienced someplace like Miami?

there's been reports over the years that he's thought about going back there at some point.

and Miami's done, title or not this year, for the next couple years.

Funny thing is that Cleveland fans aren't even that jazzed about it. They know that if any NBA team could mess up this draft, its theirs.

Cleveland selects: Embiid, and he has a bad back, or Smart, or Exum, or Parker refuses to play there.

This does make the draft more interesting because of just how bad Cleveland is at picking. Who knows, they may even trade the pick for an established player just because they cannot afford to draft an unproductive player again.

Oh sure, I've heard the rumors. I don't believe them but I've heard them. I don't think he'll ever settle for being a huge fish in a small, dirty pond again. I could see him deciding to be the savior of New York but I think he's a lot more bitter about Cleveland's reaction than he let's on. I know I would be. He didn't handle his exit well but from his perspective he already gave them a second contract, something I'm sure his advisors told him not to do.

if i'm cleveland i dont start with #1 pick as offer for love, i start with thompson, waiters and bennett. 3 young players that have all underachieved but are still in early twenties.

Minny tells them to screw off, but what can g.s. or chicago offer that is better without noah or klay thompson? is a 14/18/len deal from suns better than above?
