Following the regional competitions, LSU Gymnastics heads the NCAA championships starting with the seminal round on April 17 in Fort Worth, TX.
The top-seeded Tigers face off against No. 4 Utah, No. 5 UCLA, and No. 8 Michigan State in its third-straight national championship appearance. They claimed their 15th regional title on Saturday after posting a team score of 198.050.
Oklahoma, Florida, Missouri, and Alabama make up an All-SEC second semifinal group. The top two teams from each semifinal will advance to the championship meet on April 19.
LSU will aim to defend its 2024 title following a standout showing at the Penn State regional on Saturday. Aleah Finnegan claimed the floor individual title and shared the balance beam title with SEC Freshman of the Year Kailin Chio as each scored a 9.950.
Haleigh Bryant is also on a quest to defend her all-around title from 2024. She posted three scores of 9.9 or better in Saturday's regional, a strong showing in her fifth and final season representing the Tigers.
