Great defense by Ayton on that final possession
Even with good games from Booker and Oubre the Suns do not win without Ayton.

Yeah I’m happy we won bc losses just aren’t going to do anything at this point. We aren’t going to bottom out and get lucky in the lottery and this looks to be a poor draft anyway. So tanking is meaningless. But wins like tonight just feel hollow.Nice to get a win but unfortunately not a happy forum.
Man I don’t know about that. He was just pretty dreadful tonight.Even with good games from Booker and Oubre the Suns do not win without Ayton.

Ayton played well in spurts tonight, but overall, not a great game. I’m surprised his shooting has been as bad as it’s been.

Monty may have been trying to prove a point but I think not starting Ayton threw off his game... messed with his rhythm.
Opponents know what's coming. He is a one-dimensional offensive player. What the hell happened to Ayton’s jump shot?

Yeah it kinda eliminates the strongest argument posters had in terms of his potential, his historic efficiency numbers. Those are gone now.Ayton played well in spurts tonight, but overall, not a great game. I’m surprised his shooting has been as bad as it’s been.
There’s always some reason it’s not Ayton’s fault . . .Monty may have been trying to prove a point but I think not starting Ayton threw off his game... messed with his rhythm.
Only thing I can think of is his ankle
Is still bothering him and he’s not getting enough lift. But for as long as I can remember, his midrange has always been automatic

Exactly
Last year that 15 footer was money.
Now it’s garbage.
