If you’ve read my posts I usually point them out, so yes. You just guess at reasons for it not to be his fault.

Simply think it's too early to look at the glass as half empty.

For the record, if the Suns did leave and an expansion team came in, it wouldn’t feel the same at all.
I said, think about it, tongue in cheek, to accentuate that we have zero hope of becoming relevant under Sarver.

Hey, I am about to turn 79 years old and have been a Suns fan for over 40 years. I don't want my last decade of
life to be one of frustration because of Sarver's Folly.

Jerry is just a year older than I and Sarver is his legacy. I'm sure he feels the same way about it,
although he couldn't bring himself to say it when he responded to my letter requesting him to
get involved with his NBA connections.

Because LeBron is not only a superstar, but the #1 player in the game. Just as Michael was. Just as Kobe was.

You're comparing anyone on the Suns to them? Even if Book makes the All Star team this season (which is unlikely), he's still no LeBron -- obviously.

Book's having to be our super scorer AND facilitator last season wore him down and didn't make the Suns a better team.

Lebron was the first guy that came to mind and since you've mentioned you don't watch other teams play I didn't think mentioning someone like Nikola Jokic would help you understand the point I'm making, that being that assists don't make a PG. It was an example and nothing more but I'm not surprised you decided to go in a different direction rather than address the point I was making.

Booker has been passing out of double teams to open players who then make a shot, that somehow makes him a PG in your mind though. You have mentioned all season how you don't want him double teamed and for the team to come up with a way to help but apparently guys making shots when he passes out of double teams isn't something that you want to see because that makes him a PG in your eyes.

Devin will be an All-Star this year and I'd even being willing to bet on it, barring injury. If you don't think he will then think of a wager and I'm game. The Suns season hasn't been great on the whole but it has been much better than years past and he won't be snubbed like years prior.

I really try to comment on my actual observations. That’s what I’m seeing. That’s why you don’t see me saying “I think . . . “ when discussing Ayton.

Ive watched this like 10 times. He’s not even trying to stop himself from cursing. My man is straight up spitting fire from the booth.

It's really surprising too because he does radio all week, he knows what he can and what he can't say. He showed no remorse for it. Got to give him credit for going all in.

For a while, yes, but let me ask this:

20 years from now, would you rather be rooting for a replacement or expansion franchise that comes in now and emulates the Suns of old, or would you rather have endured 20 more years just like the last 10, rooting for this franchise?

In the long run, a franchise is more than a name and logo. And we could even keep our name and logo...just ask the Charlotte Hornets.

I haven't graduated to absolutes on Ayton like you have. It's too early in his career.

Hopefully no one has reached their peak at 21.

I say again . . . it's not about Ayton's growing in his career. It is about whether his style fills a necessary role on the Suns. He would have to
do a 180 for that to happen. What are the chances of that?

I don't know what to say other than Ayton fits just fine on the Suns.

That sounds more like a hope than a fact.

In fact, thinking about it, being just fine on the Suns nowadays is not a good thing.

Is it? Are you please with a decade of failure? We need players who are not just fine on the Suns.

Seriously! The status quo sucks.

He JUST GOT BENCHED. I'm having a lot of trouble understanding how you come to this absolute conclusion that Ayton fits just fine on the same night that his coach benched his ass out of the starting lineup, while also coming on the heels of the team playing some really embarrassing ball this week? Seems like things are pretty questionable right now and if this is what fine looks like right now with Ayton and the Suns, I'd hate to see what you think bad looks like.

This was the Suns' first win this season while scoring less than 100 points.

Yes, it was our defense down the stretch that won the game for us. And Booker's two clutch 3-point shots. For the 8-0 run.

I might be completely wrong, but what the heck, I will call my shot:

James Jones trades Ayton and filler to the Thunder for Gallinari and Schroder.

In all fairness, as Eddie pointed out all game, these magic are dreadful offensively and undermanned to boot.

And I forgot that Issac was out as well. Orlando was missing 3 of it's best 5 players, and we needed a furious last-minute rally to eke out a win at home. Ouch.

Man, I have a hard time making sense of that. I'm not saying anything in "absolutes" (like you just did), but if you think things are fine right now with Ayton and the Suns, I'd hate to see what bad looks like.

Ayton has not played his best basketball this season but he is a talented player who should only get better.

This might be your most inane prediction yet...

Wanna bet? I'll give you odds... massive massive odds.

okay... but literally none of the above has anything to do with him fitting just fine right now. So, again, I'll ask... on a night that he just got benched out of the starting lineup, how do you think he fits just fine... especially on a team that's been playing really crappy basketball in the last week?

Also, you criticize others for talking "in absolutes" yet you then turn around and say "he should only get better". That's an absolute that sadly to this point of the season doesn't have much to back it up. So far this season, we've actually seen him get worse offensively and apparently done something to piss off the coaching staff that led to him getting benched. So, how do you know he should only get better? The scariest thing about Ayton to me is he looks like the exact same player as the one who stepped on the court for UofA three years ago. I don't know if he'll get better. I HOPE he does, but I'm just not seeing all that much progress in the three seasons worth of basketball I've watched him in college or the pros.
