Trail Blazers beat the Mavericks tonight and will remain a game behind the Suns in the West. They just keep on winning with key players out.

Signs you’re a good team:

A 24 point lead seems ho-hum and is happening when you’re not even firing on all cylinders.

this is great.

Crowder is going to be huge for this team down the stretch.

Monty calls timeout with the Suns lackluster defense.

Cam Johnson is a better player than his play of late.

his play has really been one of the few concerning things during this run. He played so well in the bubble and jumped out fast coming out of the gate this season, but he has been really inconsistent since that hot start.

Ayton is just out there with 10 points. No one is on the court to stop him.

Yeah, Cam Johnson has been inconsistent.

Bridges stroke from the corner is becoming deadly.

I hope the Suns have a plan to get Stix playing time somewhere.

Tonight’s the rare game where it doesn’t bother me. Had enough working elsewhere, he did a good job in his matchup and rebounded well.

Final:

Suns 109 - Magic 90

I do like Nader. He has become the energizer.

Ayton has so much talent yet he seems to be running on half throttle most nights.

that’s a good idea.

also, can this pandemic be over yet? I am so freaking bored the second this game ended.

The same here. I will be so glad to get a life back after the pandemic is over.

The Suns are so deep. A player like Nader should be getting regular minutes. He has become one of my favorite players.

He always brings energy and likes to take it to the basket on offense. When the Suns turn stagnant he is one of those players that can get the team going.

Solid wire to wire win. Loved that Booker came out red hot ready to just crush it. Would have loved to see a bit more consistency from the team, but hard to argue with a blowout on the second night of a back-to-back and now 6 wins in a row.
