by all accounts this kid is a workout fiend who loves the sport. 5 star recruit, McDonalds all American the whole 9.

It may be something simple (let's hope so) but I highly doubt it has anything to do with being sent to the G League - history suggests the coach would have just told us if that were the case. My hope is that he has a minor transgression to apologize for, violating team rules or Covid protocols or even failing a drug test (not as minor but still better than some of the possibles). Anyway, we'll soon see.

I assume if it was a failed drug test than the league would have released that information. He is likely dealing with something personal would be my guess if they are leaving it up to him to disclose the information.

If the Suns were not going to draft Halibuton a trade down would have been good if one was available.

The 2020 draft had solid depth.
