... why would they NOT wear them?

Other than to save money, there is absolutely no reason they would NOT be wearing the new uniforms.

We are the only team, in all of football, that charged players to eat at the team facility. You think it's crazy that the team is too cheap to pay for new uniforms for training camp?

There is literally no other explanation than frugality.

And when you make the connection that it is the most frugal ownership in football... all one can say is... "duh".

We're talking 'practice' here, right?

Sports teams using old unis in practice is more the norm than the exception.

I'm holding out hope that the new practice unis will be there for training camp next month.

I looked into this for other recent uniform releases. The Chargers players didn't wear their new Uniforms in 2020 until August 2nd. Same with the Rams.

You can see them both in the 2020 Hard Knocks trailer wearing old Uni's despite both launching new strips in May. Would have taken you 5 minutes to check this yourself.

So it's completely normal not to see new uniforms until some time in official camps. Rams didn't get theirs until mid August.

Every time the same people invent these ridiculous "fan theories" to attack the franchise it just lessens how much people take them seriously. There's been enough real, tanglible things to criticise them on without inventing things.

The famously generous and aggressive Los Angeles Chargers. Not another poverty franchise at all.

Ignoring the Rams. Here's the 5th wealthiest owner in the league not dishing out Uniforms until the 1st game of preseason. Also in early August.

Almost like it's a league wide thing.

FIFY.

It is still not a good look but they do not pay for meals during the season.

Or in the off season. Only if they took a meal to go. But again facts get in the way. Yes still a bad look but the story changes with each person that tells it. We had posters generically saying that players were charged for all meals at one point… lol
