And our secondary has been good since?
Sincerely I don't remember anyone playing so poorly
He was opponent qbs best asset, allowing them having the best rating
Btw he still young so I hope he will be a better player in a new system

I'm as critical of this team as anyone but I don't get how Marco Wilson getting cut is ruffling any feathers.

He's been one of the worst corners in the league the last few seasons... if anything him not getting cut sooner was strange.
Agreed! If he was the only strange incident it would be routine. It isn't.

I guess the positive spin is that if you don't perform well and/or respond to coaching you won't play. Some take it to heart and bust their butt to get back to playing and some don't.

So the DC is basically admitting that, in his opinion, the cardinals are cutting a “good” player from a team that doesn’t have many good players?

Cool

TE2 turned out to be better than the old, broken TE1 - smart move by the Cards
you mean, TE2 finally got playing time only because TE1 got injured. That's not a smart move... it's one they lucked into because the Cards would have rather played TE1's rotting corpse, stunting the growth of the much better TE2.
QB2 - are you talking about McCoy? Old and broken
Old and Broken... and yet over the entirety of the off-season, was still the plan to start half of the season.

That's about as big of an L that the team had all year.
RB2 - injured, and outperformed
no prob here.

Have you watched the receivers open with nobody near them in past weeks. I mean I knew when it was Marco’s guy as he was in the picture. Now I can’t tell. I see very little difference with our secondary. Sucked then and suck now. I would rather Clark play and learn.

There was no reason for him to add that sentence if he didn't think that.

This isn't the Kevin Towers Dbacks, organizationally, there is no need to trash guys they just let go.

So being cut from an NFL roster and the best they can do is on another team's practice squad is an indictment o

By those numbers the article referenced before this post should be titled: Cards Release Marco Wilson, Who Struggled to Play Defense.

What player did the new regime "coach up" this year? Actually curious.
Trey McBride???

Also, it can be argued this staff got Clark and Williams to show more than many of us were expecting...You can probably throw Stills into that conversation, too.

I think they have done a fair to good job coaching up most of the guys they picked to be here, especially the ones where others had zero expectations.

The proof will really come in the next 2 years as they add more pieces, to see if the team becomes more cohesive.

Last thing I'll say, is that the majority of the guys released can't say they weren't given every opportunity to make some sort of an impact this year and show they belong.
