Agree. And his, those whacky Coyotes, or other (insert team name here) Annoys the hell out of me.
I was curious why KTAR FM's 2nd HD channel was the Mormon channel and found that out. They also own KSL in Salt Lake City, which is the NBC affiliate that is known for declining some of NBC's programming. The most recent example that I am aware of is "The Playboy Club" from last season. Judging by the amount of time that show lasted, it was probably a smart decision.

So they (haven't checked in the last couple of years) own part of Coca-Cola and have a sports radio station that no doubt broadcasts sports on Sunday?

I thought bickley worked with MJ on 910?
Looking at the new lineup, this is what I would do.
Burns and Wolf: 6-10 a.m.
Chuck Powell and Vince Marotta: 10a.m.-2 p.m.
Asher and Gambo: 2-6 p.m.

Chuck Powell and Vince Marotta: 10a.m.-2 p.m.
Asher and Gambo: 2-6 p.m.

I am beyond thrilled with this news!!! Mike and Mike are gone and Doug and Wolf are back where they belong! I actually like the Burns and Gambo show. Plus they snared Bickley away from his yes-men lackeys at 910 and stuck him with Vinnie!!!
Still wish it was Chuck and Vince, but I'll take it.

Jurecki and Bauer? When Bick was on assignment, they did okay holding down the fort. Maybe they go get Chuck Powell when his contract expires with KTAR?
XTRA just re-branded to Fox Sports Radio, didn't they? Not a good start, losing their most recognizable local voice.

Yeah, even if Bickley can't start at 620 until July 29, there is no way 910 lets him back on the air to direct his fans that way. It'll be Jurecki flying solo for now, I bet, until they figure out how to proceed.
i only like that show for jureckis inside knowledge and insight anyway. Hopefully he gets a good new co host.
I prefer something beyond doug and wolf in the morning but its still better than mike and mike.

One holiday season, Mike Jurecki and I were called into the program director’s office before a scheduled broadcast. We were handed festive cards.
After the show, we were called back into the office. We were handed pink slips.
Merry Christmas.
A confluence of events has resulted in more dramatic change. An expanding role with Republic Media dictates that I can no longer work afternoon drive. When I resurface on radio July 29, I’ll be part of the Arizona Sports 620 (KTAR-AM) team, hosting “The Dan Bickley Show with Vince Marotta” weekdays from 12-2 p.m.......

Franz, then Burns, are two of the most annoying, uninformed rank amatuers I have ever heard on radio... How both Wolfley and Gambo haven't beaten this two to a pulp yet I'll never know...
Bring in Powell and Asher. Anything in better than listening to Wolf and his never ending sayings.....My friends. That man is annoying.
