UA to hire Colorado's Greg Brown as defensive coordinator

The Arizona Wildcats wasted little time replacing Mark Stoops, after the UA's defensive coordinator announced he was taking a similar position at Florida State.

Greg Brown left his position as Colorado's secondary coach Saturday. He will be named the UA's secondary coach and co-defensive coordinator as soon as next week, a Colorado news release says.

Brown, 52, spent the last four seasons at Colorado. Before that, he worked 15 years for the NFL's Chargers, 49ers, Falcons and Saints.............Brown should share coordinator duties with linebackers coach Tim Kish, a longtime assistant and expert recruiter...........
