Ayton looks so freaking lazy some games, just playing half speed like he has cement feet
Something is indeed weighing him down. Is it that he is lazy? That is difficult to believe.

Is it the Suns record as the worst team in the NBA? For the second season in a row. Is it a passive Head Coach who has him starting pick-and-rolls at the 3-point line? Is it the lack of an NBA Point Guard to feed him on offense? Is it the team's inability to put a decent Power Forward next to him to take some of the pressure off? Is it General Managers and Head Coaches being fired on a regular basis early each season?

I vote for paragraph #2. There are so many expectations with him as the #1 pick. The Suns only one in history. While seeing the team owner make a fool of himself. And he is just a kid, with very little experience, especially at his position.

Look at it through his eyes. With all eyes on him. It isn't easy.

A score by Ayton down low and then comes up with a block.

Everybody thought Tyson Chandler would be such a great mentor for Ayton, but it appears watching Holmes on the floor has had a much greater affect.

I couldn't agree more.

The last time the Suns tried to pass the ball to Ayton he was doubled teamed and the ball stolen. It was not a smart play.

Yup, Suns up by 11 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Good going, guys.

Quick, someone get Igor a large dish of refried beans so nature will call and any one of his assistants can step in and hold the lead.

I don’t think Ayton is lazy. I think he’s overthinking things. Needs to go with first instinct.

I don't think he is actually lazy, either. His tendency to freeze on defense instead of moving toward the rim to protect when somebody drives to the basket makes him *look* lazy.

Powell gets Ayton with an elbow to the head.

Now they call an offensive foul on Ayton? I don't agree with this.

The TNT announcers are reminding us that the Chuckster GUARANTEED a Suns victory tonight.

So your saying having a more talented and high energy player is better for a 19 year old rookie to learn from than a veteran who plays with lackadaisical effort and doesn't care at all?

I have no idea how the suns are ahead. Ayton and Jackson have been putrid tonight.

Again Ayton needs to get stronger. When he is challenged underneath he usually doesn't finish. The Suns need to do more pick and roll with him.

I've seen at least four plays by Jackson tonight where he thinks he's the only Sun on the court. And he missed each one of the forced shots. I don't think there is any hope for him.

My guess is not that he is selfish, but rather just isn't too damn bright.

On the lighter side, TNT just showed a Taco Bell commercial encouraging drivers to run red lights because the chalupa box on the front seat doesn't have a seat belt. Unbelievable!

Josh Jackson hits a big 3 to push the Suns lead back to 10.

Jackson played much smarter at Kansas, when he was playing for a real coach. He also played smarter under Triano as last season progressed. He has looked like a completely different player under Watson and now Kokoskov.

I don't think that explains 3 free throw attempts in a half, especially not one where we've been the aggressor and outscored them by 10.
Out scoring doesn’t mean we’ve been the aggressor. We don’t force contact.
