I do think this game helped the Suns grow as painful as that might be... to come back the way they did.

Yeah this win will help the Suns grow. I used to absolutely loved the1 & 2 point victories over a difficult opponent afterwards of course. A107-105 victory was nice. Now move on to game two. Go Suns!

Always nice to get the opener. It looked to me the Suns are still sorting things so any wins early are welcome.

I forgot about the game until close to halftime and saw the Suns down 17 and figured it'd be a LONG season. I didn't bother to watch, didn't have the composure to handle another blowout loss to the Mavs. I'm so glad that didn't happen. Proud of the team that clawed their way back. It would have been ugly if they didn't.

Just got home from the game, watching replays... man... I can't stand Luka. On the final shot, Lee doesn't come within 20 inches of touching him, no exaggeration, at least that distance... after he misses the shot Luka is incredulous that there wasn't a foul.

Don’t think he really got benched, more of Monty riding the hot line up and knowing too small to guard anyone they had out there…

But that’s not really what happened. He was on the bench for a pretty much most of the 4th

And yes Lee made 2 big shots but he also had some really bad plays. It was Booker and Ayton who brought us back

I'm glad I couldn't talk the wife into leaving early. I was ready to bolt and really pissy when we went down by 20. Like I've seen this somewhere before.
Was kinda hoping we got stomped so the front office would be inclined to make some moves.
Landale and LEE so far looking like they may be good pickups. But we still need some parts.

Woods was a Sun wasn't he at one point? Anybody know? A step back banked three by a 6-10 center. Another 3 point.

One can only imagine Christian Woods on the Suns current roster, but then it would change their starting lineup.

I believe Woods practiced with the Suns and played in their G-League some years back.

I have been a Woods fan since he came into the league. Can't remember him ever being on a Suns roster.

I remember Woods practicing with the Suns, maybe during the summer, but I don't remember seeing him in a game.

Yeah I'm pretty sure he was on our Summer League team.
From Wikipedia

Return to Delaware (2017–2018)[edit]

After his second season in the NBA, Wood entered free agency due to his second year being a team option.[25] Wood would later join the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns for the 2017 NBA Summer League out in Orlando and Las Vegas, respectively.[26][27] Wood was a member of the Mavericks team that won the Summer League Championship in Orlando that year.[26][28]

On August 9, 2017, Wood signed with the Fujian Sturgeons of the Chinese Basketball Association.[29] However, Wood never played a game for Fujian as he was waived by the team, which allowed him to return to the Delaware 87ers that same year.[30]

Here is that game winning shot by Damion Lee for those who want to relive the moment.

This spacing is awful. What a terrible play design in the clutch.

Booker draws the double and having two guys in the paint basically lets 2 guys guard 3 since the across the court pass is impossible.
