Mavericks vs Suns SL Game Thread 7/6/18

Our guards are doing a really crappy job of trying to get Ayton the ball on the pick plays. He keeps being in position and they keep trying bad layups or crazy jumping kick out passes.

If Nash were out there Ayton probably has 12 points right now.

I think it was you but regardless, someone here posted a comment here about Brandon that went basically like this "unlike Bledsoe at least Knight can make a decent entry pass". I'm too lazy to check but it was in a game thread when he first joined us. I'm not trying to call anyone out for that comment, I'm just pointing out that we did have a little reason to appreciate the guy when we first saw him. And he exhibited a basketball skill that we sorely need with Ayton on the team.

I think it was you but regardless, someone here posted a comment here about Brandon that went basically like this "unlike Bledsoe at least Knight can make a decent entry pass". I'm too lazy to check but it was in a game thread when he first joined us. I'm not trying to call anyone out for that comment, I'm just pointing out that we did have a little reason to appreciate the guy when we first saw him. And he exhibited a basketball skill that we sorely need with Ayton on the team.

I don't remember, but if making a good entry pass is the best evaluation of our Point Guard, we're in trouble.

Only thing worse than the quality of summer league is listening to Suns fans who think these games are going to be a sign of how the regular season will be.

As I posted earlier in the game, he looks awkward on the floor. Even clumsy. He just doesn't move smoothly.

Yeah, I like that he wanted to post up a smaller defender, but not at the three point line, lol.

Which is why I worry with a horrible PG, not feeling Ayton makes him a Non Facror and Bridges no shots
