Cheese please layoff the jackass comments.

but it's okay to imply some of us are cowards and that people wouldn'twant to be in a foxhole with us? you KNOW the implications of such a statement Chris. Look for the first punch, don't just reprimand the swing back.

Not TOO far from it:

....... "We ain't gonna win our division."

....... "1-5 - this team is going to be no higher than a 6 seed and if they don't have a magical run - KABOOM! It's blow-up time."

Sounds like 10 days into the season they're at a point where it will take nothing short of a miracle for the Suns to go anywhere in the next five months. I disagree, and I hate Kool Aid.

that's nice to completely take quotes OUT OF CONTEXT - yeesh.

first of all, I didn't think we would win our division before the season started - that doesn't mean I gave up hope - the Clippers are... ah forget, arguing with someone who just BLATANTLY takes things out of context is like arguing with a two-year old - there's no point to the endeavor.

And if anyone here thinks that if they don't win the title this team is going to stay intact is completely fooling themselves.

So the bandwagon is losing riders, oh well. Dont worry there'll still be room on the bandwagon when things start clicking and the suns go on a run. Just dont go jumping off anything other than the bandwagon. Sometimes, I think it pays to not be a cardinal fan, keeps the paranoia down. And the Dback comparisons also seem kinda lame as well. Which of those teams has a 2 time MVP and coach of the year(Dennis Green, Bob Brenly??). I still think the suns have a good shot at 50-52 wins. At 1-5, they need to go at least 49-27, and they have already played some of the better teams(Clip(2x), spurs, Mavs, Lakers). Same thing happened last year with the 4-5 start, then the suns had a rash of injuries midseason on a team that was not very deep. They still finished 50-23 in spite of the injuries to Barbs, KT, JR, and the trials with fitting in "not in shape" TT after he came over.

jesus christ - can't people voice legitimate concerns without being labelled bandwagon jumpers? I guess there's no room for rational discussion of the Suns unless you're impersonating Kevin Bacon in Animal House:

ALL IS WELL!!!! ALL IS WELL!!!

otherwise, you're someone who apparently is a bandwagon fan/the last person int he world you'd want to be in a foxhole or a chiken with their head cut off.

good lord.

I said I'm sorry...do you want me to beg for my cyber life?

YES!... my turn to say sorry - misread your post. And to say sorry for calling you a jackass.

we're just all frustrated right now - even those of us who expected a slow start (and I did) weren't prepared for this. At least the threes seem to be falling and hopefully we can get a little fat on some weaker (in relative terms) opponents coming up to try and pump some life into this team.

I share some of the concerns voiced so far as well:

-(D'less)Antoni's coaching
I've never been convinced about his ability to coach. He's overly reliant on Nash and the ability of his team to shoot. If one of those fails, the game is as good as lost. I'm yet to see him make inspired coaching decisions, esp. in the course of a game. IIRC there were a few defensive matchups he planned well against the Clippers in WC-SF but thats about it.
You've got to doubt a guy who can't win w/o the MVP on his team.

- How obtuse does one have to be to fail to realize the importance of passable defense? The team gets burned after leading, time and again, but he just doesn't seem to get it.
The fact that he's made no effort to correct such defects in the past 2 yrs is why I don't feel like taking his post game 'calling out' seriously.
I'm glad Nash did not retort by calling out coach for being inept.

In spite of these concerns, I do feel people are overreacting. No..being Cards fans is not a legit excuse.
guys, I've been a Bengals fan through their dark years and I feel optimistic about the Suns.
(before you compare the Bengals and Cards, I do realize the former were good last yr and are passable this year. But remember Bengals sucked just as badly for many many yrs.)
One more thing -- which is worse? starting off well (3-0) and losing 4 of the next 5 (a la Bengals), or losing the first 3 and winning 4 of the next 5? I'd take the latter anyday.
The Suns have lost 4 of the first 5 but I'm sure they'll get to 50 wins.
Its too early to be panicking.

3 of our next 4 matchups should help regain confidence:
1. A Pau-less MEM
2. PHI
3. GS

I bought NBALP when the Suns were 1-2. I don't make much money and that purchase is going to preclude a lot of concerts and movies and whatnot. I was hoping the Suns would make it worth my while... I am now sad and broke.

ahh! was that first line necessary? if you wanted people to stay upbeat, the second line was all you needed.
You've crossed the line from being rude to being a total <you-know-what>.

I dont like people trying to evoke sympathy....especially over league pass. We supposed to say..."Aww thats too bad"...yeah right. Dont buy league pass if you're going to cry about it later!

Pokerface...

Your optomism is great, but comments like these are not. I am trying to avoid banning fans during this rough period with the Suns since everyone is going to be easily annoyed. Please don't make my job harder.

Thanks.

Actually, that's why I think everyone is bagging on him. I didn't think his comment was that bad, and I am aware of his previous posts.
