Maybe Hall will be a qb for us that can actually get fitz more then one or two catches a game.... god you suck Anderson go find another team to not hit receivers on
Max, get your running shoes ready! Saints, will BLITZ AND MORE BLITZ.
Note to Whiz,
Lots of screens
Rollout the QB, move the pocket, Hall has legs.

Another good sign from last Sundays game, SD blitzed our rookie the whole time. He held on to it at times when he should have chucked it away. The O-line had already quit. But little man didn't throw a pick.
Sweet.
Right decision, IMO.
Give him a game to get his feet wet
how about we start the beanis too. tired of these shenanigans, its time for the new cardinals to make something happen.
I'm convinced that Derek Anderson is a Jedi and used his mind powers on Whisenhunt...
"You dont need to see my stats in Cleveland"
"I can go about my business as your QB"
"These aren't the QB's you're looking for"
I agree that Hall can put air under the ball, but as Rugby notes above I don't think he can get a 30-yard pass to the sideline like even one-armed Warner could. You're essentially then running Fitz into the middle of defenses. Even when you look at Hall's college tapes, guys are having to wait for/come back to the ball.
The scary part was a lot of those sacks were 4 man rushes not blitzes. Hell one of them was a 3 man rush IIRC.
Just dumped Hasselbeck and added Hall to my fantasy team. I will continue to start Schaub but right now Max is my bye week QB.
It's official. This season is a rebuilding year, the playoffs have pretty much been written off. Yes, I knew that already but now even the illusion of competing for the playoffs is gone.
Oh well. I'll show up on Sunday and hope for the best.
lol. normally i'd agree with you, but d.anderson wasn't taking us to the playoffs either.
unfortunately i don't see this as a rebuilding year. i don't think an undersized undrafted rookie free agent is our qbof. and there just aren't that many youngsters being groomed on defense. unfortunately i just see this year as a waste. what development are we really going to see?
now THIS post can be targeted as not only OPINION, but perhaps negative. i'll take it. but it is my opinion that this season is, by and large, wasted. perhaps we'll develop some of these young wr's (if they stay healthy) and maybe toler, washington, and williams on defense. but those are the only positives i can see coming from this season.
hall? you'll excuse me if i'm not overly optimistic. how often does an undersized undrafted rookie free agent end up panning out as a star? it may happen, but the odds are stacked against it.
Hopefully, our O-Line won't cause this to occur all day again:
You must be registered for see images attach
Hall looks more like Scott Player in an NFL Uni than he does Drew Brees.unfortunately that picture sums up my previous post. that looks like a man body-whupping a small child.
*Removes tin foil hat and returns to reality*
It could be worse, he could be Leinart: get cut for Derek freaking Anerson, an undrafted rookie Free Agent, and a rookie 5th round pick.I can't think of a better way to describe how much Anderson sucks, because being benched by an undrafted rookie is about as bad as it can get.
