So I have had season tickets with Jersey Girl since the stadium opened. Had my own prior to that.

This last season was absolutely my least favorite as a Cardinals fan including all those poopy seasons at Sun Devil Stadium. At least then I had Gee and KoC to entertain me. That was a fun combo.

This year I was surrounded by opposing fans every week looking to stir up trouble...S.A.F.E. just happily waiting to harrass any Cardinals fan but ignoring the ******* opposing fans...mismanagement of the team from the top down...worst offense I have seen in my life...

And now training camp is moving to Glendale. The team will save some money but the fan experience will be worse.

Hey, it is game time. Sit down, shut up and only cheer when the jumbotron says to...hopefully the hall monitor doesn't put me in detention.

So many great Cardinals fans have been told "you aren't welcome here anymore". I personally have been warned more than once to sit down by the folks at S.A.F.E. My crime? Standing up when an opposing team player was injured, praying that he would get up.

Last year I found my main reason for going to a game I already paid for would be to tailgate with O, Desertdawg, Sam Wise, Thirty Two, and a few others...and then the halftime meet was always great.

So did I love the fan experience...or the experience I created as a fan?

Maybe it is time for the Cardinal's organization to wake up...

Or maybe it is time to let me money speak...

Guess I will decide by the 18th. I am sure I will ultimately pay the price, for my season tickets and my loyalty.

Don't you dare. I got one spot I can count on, that bean bagging corner spot plum filled with good people good food and good times. Our ASFN group is diversified enough already, folks spread out, but I know where you guys party. TEAM, SAFE, they remind us that the POPO aint that bad. But fans like us make the place dance, and the players play. If you can afford it without it funking up your detail, you gotta stay Season style. I look forward to seeing your punk ass as well, getting whooped by the ladies bean bag style.

We should get some new bean bags made with T's on each one, so when we beat the ladies we can tell them they got T bagged. Many fun reasons to stick around, all I gotta do is figure out how to support my team while dealing with TEAM and the opposing. Knowing I have to make it to the half time meet gives me a reason to at least make it that far...C'mon man!!!

Don't funk with my emotions, my brokeness enfluences my decisions. If I could afford the season ticket money I wouldn't miss one. Being broke and TEAM STAFF is the only reason I aint. If I had some spare dough I would **** with TEAM STAFF all year long.

Point of order...we rarely beat the ladies. JG and 32 own at bags. Not sure what the vagina version of teabag is but they get first dibs.

When you aint got the money you can surely guess what you would do with that money. The older you get, the more you tuck it away...I plan on being young for a while. The way I figure it, I'll be broke and happy for my time. Don't pay for ****, make my way with some hippie hoopla. I aint gonna starve but I'll leave a nice collection to whoever.

I sure as hell wish I could be a part of some of the awesome tailgates or halftime meets that many ASFNers put together. You're all an awesome group. But Chris, I'm totally with you. It's not an indictment of the team - I'll love them regardless of the terrible stadium conditions.

I endured some of the Sun Devil years myself - not as many as I'd have liked, since I was in Vegas, but I didn't care about us being bad, I'm a Cardinals fan, whatever it takes. But, justifying a renewal of my season tickets is almost impossible, given that I have to come from Las Vegas for each game. It's a huge financial burden to fly or drive there and back each Sunday to see the games, as much as I loved them... but the stadium atmosphere is being ruined.

I've posted before about how I got kicked out of this year's Buffalo game for "excessive standing" in the 4th quarter with just four minutes to go, and the game on the line. While the team tried to make up for it with some solid efforts from stadium operations and a larger investigation into the problem, the concerns I've seen from other posters here really have caused me problems. S.A.F.E. seems to deter genuine fandom in University of Phoenix Stadium at the behest of fans of the opposing team. I'm not sure how to protest the methods they use but to refuse to spend my money and time going there.

I honestly don't know if there's anything that can be done to bring me back this year. I love the Arians hire, and I really hope we somehow get Geno Smith. But still, will that equate to coming back and cheering in what has changed from the greatest atmosphere I've known to the absolute worst?

What an awful situation... they're pushing away the fans that kept them relevant in the worst of times.

SAFE is a damn joke. If something really were to happen, those dorks wouldn't do a damn thing anyways and just wait for the cops to come deal with it. Pathetically run unit that needs drastic overhaul

I think they're a League requirement for stadiums. Not a FO decision.

Still they go way overboard vs. the home crowds. WAY SO, to many times.

Sound like a bunch of SAFE Crackers - I think we will be on track for great things next year going forward- WE can compete in a tough division- but We don't have a clue what we have right now- I couldn't evaluate players or units on that mess these last few years- Our Cap runneth over- but it is the only thing that ran on the Cardinals.

I won't have a solid eval until the bye week- just like our 4 win start last year- So it may be nut crackers for Christmas? but to me that is worth watching- The Cardinals becoming - rather than flopping all over the ground faking a broken wing, when their beak is stuck up their AZ.

And now training camp is moving to Glendale. The team will save some money but the fan experience will be worse.

No one has experienced it yet. No one even knows the set up for it yet. No one has a clue what the fan experience will be yet. Yet I have seen more then one person say the fan experience will be worse. I am confused, do you guys know something I don't yet.

I have been to many different teams camps. Falcons and Chargers being a few of them. Both have it at their team facilities and both have had just as good or in some cases better fan interaction then the Cards do in Flagstaff.

I have always wondered too whether the altitude at Flagstaff was a deterrent.

I'm not really carrying water for the Glendale delegation, but this flies in the face of everything that I've ever heard from the national press (Peter King, John Clayton, Len Pasquarelli, the NFL Radio guys, Mike Sando, etc.), who have consistently described the Flagstaff experience as the best training camp in the NFL, hands down. Have for years.

As for Chris's OP: he can spend his money however he chooses. Is the Big Red Service Team still making calls? That's your real chance to communicate your problems with security, and your opinion on the NAU deal. I can't believe you're considering passing on the Drew Stanton Experience 2013!

It doesn't fly in the face at all. That is a media guys experience, sure they love to visit Flagstaff for two days, who wouldn't. When they do talk about the experience what are they always saying about it - "Weather, Pine Tree's, small town atmosphere". What they never talk about about is the training facilities, the weight room, the med facilities, the video rooms, the dorms, and you know all the things that actually matter to football team, its coaches, and players.

Even MJ alluded to that yesterday on the show---how he loves to go up there now that he has all his favorite pubs and restaurants---and to beat the heat for a week.

He said he is planning to go up there and take his "little honey" regardless of whether the Cardinals are there this summer.

In year's past I would gladly save up and spend $5,000.00 to fly out to AZ, spend the money for tickets, hotels, and the usual fanfare.

Now ? Now way. I am not going to travel across the country to get harassed, and thrown out of a game for cheering too much.

You have to be kidding.

Personally, I think a petition should be started, and ask one of the better writers on the board to write an editorial and carpet bomb the editorial, and petition to all the new sources in the valley.

I understand stadium safety and the need for it, but it sounds like the current situation is WAY WAY out of control.

Just ridiculous.

BTW - I have never EVER heard anything like this before. Usually season ticket holders are treated "special". Again, that is every sport, and every organization that I have knowledge about. Just crazy that the home team season ticket holders are looked at as the bottom of the barrel in that stadium, Crazy, just nutz!

As for S.A.F.E. - they are a huge reason why I stopped going to games unless its in a box. Not using 30 mill of the cap in the uncapped year was another. Seen opposing fans get treated better then Cards fans to often. Been asked to sit down on way to many 4 and 1's. Even when we Won the game I always left the stadium pissed off. Wasn't worth it, so now I have a revolving tail gate style party every week that revolves between 5 different guys houses.

Inside the stadium activities will probably be better than Flag. No need to pospone or move practice indoors because of rain or lightning. Much more concentrating on teaching will be accomplished IMO with less distractions & more practice time on the field. Fan comfort level improves also inside the stadium.

NOW, any organized activities planned outside will SUCK. Especially in the 115 heat. But I doubt there will be much anyway.

Although, Training camp in San Diego would be great with the ocean breezes coming in. Not so much Hotlanta with the humitity in August.

Honestly, I could care less about the player experience. What you described was the "fan experience" and said that the fan experience is as good in San Diego or Atlanta, and that directly contradicts the reports of the entirety of the national media.

I've been to Hardy Drive, and there's nothing there that the Cards don't have access to in Flagstaff.

It's not just you. The game experience is just no longer as enjoyable as it used to be. Tailgating is really the only reason I even still go. And they still have even managed to find ways to make that less fun through the years.

Many times I will leave the games during the 3rd quarter or even at halftime not to beat traffic or anything but simply because I'm not having very much fun. The SAFE clowns are a complete and utter joke. Sheriff's officers aren't much better. I still remember the time they beat down, choked out and tazed and old man (and looong time STH) for absolutely no reason at all. That was one of the most shocking and infuriating things I have ever witnessed.

I do realize that the old SDS days spent in the NEZ are long gone and never coming back but as the years have gone by there just seems to be less and less of the camaraderie amongst Cardinals fans. There certainly are no where near as many laughs anymore. There's just no edge for lack of a better word at all anymore. It's turned into a dull and drab experience similar to what I can get at a Suns or Dbacks game. I guess that's probably what they want.

Amen. Flagstaff training camp is one of the best parts of the football season. In the dead of summer, there is nothing better than an hour and a half drive up to Flag.

If they move it to Glendale, it will be a huge mistake, and further alienate the fan base.

Yeah, I was harassed during a Monday Night game, just getting beers for me and a friend. They were asking me questions if I had been drinking (on a Monday Night), and I was just standing in line minding my own business. I was feeling all right but I wasn't disrespectful or falling over myself. Just ridiculous. Truely. I was done at that point. They ask for too much $$ to be harassed enjoying yourselves at the time of a really s***** Mon. night performande.

There are plenty places and establishments to go around there that are just as enjoyable for me and friends. Good times.
