So, we finished 3-13 and have the change to pick Andrew Luck, this would be the best year to do so since there should be a rookie cap and money will not scare off the front office. No reason to trade down since money will not really be wasted like in years past.

It's no sure thing that Luck will declare for the draft and unfortunately if he's not available if he's not available there aren't any other likely 1st round quarterbacks that I like this year.

On the positive side, I think he's the next big thing in the NFL.

i doubt we lose out, even though we are playing horrible. i can see us winning 1-2 more games. carolina is awful as well, they may be in the luck sweepstakes.

Well...if Ryan Fitzpatrick keeps this up and the Bills pull out a few more W's they could finish ahead of and/or not think they have bigger needs than QB. So, we are in a dog fight with Cinci and Carolina (whom we play) to get the top pick. Carolina might not necessarily want to take a QB in the 1st round either unless they have zero faith in their second rounder Clausen.

I believe Claussen will be better, and Fitzpatrick might very well be the real deal for them........

At worst the Cards will have the #2 pick, no doubt in my mind. Of course last time the Cards owned #2 they took Leonard Davis and passed on LT. I wonder if Wiz is going to stick with his philosophy that first round players aren't guaranteed a starting spot.

fitzpatrick is a baller. i remember playing against him when he played for highland highschool in gilbert. he is a brainiack as well, getting a scholarship from harvard. i always root for that guy being a hometown dude. i always rooted for hall, being a mesa guy like myself and going to my highschool, but man fitzpatrick>hall.
