Maybe the Jim Haslett contract extension talk was a tad premature

Holy cow, is our division bad or what? It is starting to look like we underperformed by only beating the Rams by 3 touchdowns.

The Rams were playing on an emotional high, which is common after a midseason fire/hire. The beating they took at home from the Cardinals brought them back to reality. Haslett is an OK coordinator, but he is a pathetic HC.

This is about right. Weren't the Cards down 34-0 at halftime to the Jets when we played at the Meadowlands? It's only appropriate that the Rams would be shotout by a greater margin because they are a worse team than us.

Sometimes common sense works....

That game is pure carnage. It reminds me of some Cardinals games against the Cowboys in the 90's

Agreed, he's one of those recycled names that only a terrible team would hire as HC.

The members of the media who picked the Rams to win the division after they beat Dallas must feel pretty foolish about now.

Premature? No. Those talks need to be heating up, as I type. Get 'er done, Rams and Haslett!

Here's hoping we can make the 49er's feel the same way about Singletary.

I hope the Cards were taking notes. Step on their throats early and don't let up. There is no reason this 49ers team should gain any momentum on us

The Rams were riding a short-term high and we brought them crashing to earth. Reality then must have set in. I love it.

I said before that people were massively overrating Jim Haslett as the Rams new coach. He had some decent talent in New Orleans but was never anything more than an average coach.

That pretty much sums it up.

There's maybe a half-dozen guys on that roster who are worth salvaging.

It reminds me of week 4 !

Be wary of those Jets at home....they get there tails up and they are dangerous.

NYJ vs NFC West at home ? 103-38

Yup, I called it. It was EXACTLY like the Cards going with Mac when his defenses were giving up 30-40 a week.
