Im guessing Aaron Rodgers has a little to do with that. Just a little
With that line of reasoning we should just hire great former QBs as coach or wait for AR to retire. I understand it's huge having a great QB and we have one in the making

I work with a Packers fan and he has been screaming for McCarthey to be fired for 2 years now. Rodgers has publicly said he doesn't like him. Rodgers goes against McCarthey play calls and he is the reason for the success not McCarthey. All this from my coworker who watches every game.

If he does get fired then I think he goes to Cleveland.

Bring in Lincoln Riley and bring Bowles back as DC.

People don't understand they don't like him in Green Bay. They have failed Rodgers for a decade now.

Fans rarely know the inner workings of things even though we love to act like we do. It is obvious the McCarthy-Rodgers marriage is on life support but just because we all watch every game doesn't make us insiders.

On a side note, anyone who mentions Bowles for HC should be perma-banned. (I know you didn't)

I am all for it.

Bill Walsh said coaches have a 10 year shelf life for a team.

Mike McCarthy has been in Green Bay too long, and the message got stale.

I will learn from the mistake I made with Andy Reid when he became available. Being in the Philly area, I was 100% sure Reid was done, but again, he just hit his shelf life.

Mike McCarthy has proven to be a good coach, and a good coach under the restraints of a Green Bay front office that does diddly squat during the offseason, which is an archaic practice in today's NFL.

If Mike McCarthy becomes available I hope the Cardinals get him. It would be great for Josh Rosen and this team, IMHO.

McCarthy as head coach, and see if Bowles would come back to be defensive coordinator, and I would have more confidence in this team.

Add a new GM, and there is some hope whereas right now I see a dark, stale, bottomless pit.

I agree 100%.

Some Packer fans are whiney babies. Rodgers is a whiney baby also. I know Packer fans that like McCarthy & dislike Rodgers. So what!!

McCarthy will be fired at the end of the season. Although he's not a great coach, he's the type of offensive mind that I like as a HC. He's still way better than what we currently have. If we fire Keim/Wilks, I'm sure that any GM that we bring in would have McCarthy on his list.

He's dated. Hard pass.

Lol comparing Sean Payton to McCarthy

Mike McCarthy (GB)
Wins - 125
Losses - 75
Ties - 2
Win Pct. - .624
Playoff wins - 10
Playoff Losses - 8
Super Bowl wins - 1
QB-Aaron Rodgers

Sean Payton (NO)
Wins - 113
Losses - 72
Ties - 0
Win Pct. - .611
Playoff wins - 7
Playoff Losses - 5
Super Bowl wins - 1
QB-Drew Brees

Show me where the great discrepancy is. Similar won/loss record, similar playoff record, same number of SB wins, and two great QBs. What makes Payton all that much better than McCarthy

I know this is a complete fantasy, but how aboot:

GM: Mike Holmgren
HC: Mike McCarthy
OC: Mike Martz
DC: Todd Bowles
QB: Bruce Arians
PR: Newly retired Larry Fitzgerald
And what the hell, bring in Rex Ryan and USS Parcells to do the radio telecast. You know they'd be in a fistfight by the end of the 1st Q. :D :D

C'mon have some fun!
