I watched the game on TV and have seen some remarks in another thread that McCown looked decent and better than Grossman and I'm wondering if we saw the same game.
McCown looked HORRIBLE. His stats mask the number of passing plays that were called and he panicked if any pressure came his way. His mechanics in hand-offs and his movement in the pocket are also poor, he projects plays a step or two in advance.
He reminds me of Burris, the third stringer for the Bears last year, who was waived. McCown may be a good QB in practice, but I want to see Parsons in a game before we bump him for the veteran that we are going to acquire for backup slot next week
