Luckily the injuries were not to any starters other then Blake- who should be just fine. But damn I hate when the Cards play in Minnesota....

MY GOD did you see that field:eek:

The cards won but it seemed to me that they were not going all out on that joke of a field and I don't blame them one bit!

The place is like green concrete. The Cardinals should refuse to play another pre-season game there until the turf is completely replaced!

They should have moved the game to another field nearby like at a school.... but what self-respecting NFL team would play at a college stadium:rolleyes:

Eason came back in 2nd half. But he's probably a waive candidate. He just was not covering very well. Hope their are some CBs on the waiver wire from other teams.

from their newspaper...

"I think [the Cardinals] were a little hypersensitive to the experiences they've had on artificial turf in the past," said Bill Lester, executive director of the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission. "We had our best people down there, and they got it taken care of."

Mike Kelly, Vikings executive vice president, said Thursday's issues should not reoccur later this season.

"The Cardinals' criticisms were appropriate," Kelly said. "The Metrodome could have done a better job changing over the turf from baseball."

Cardinals HELL! The NFL should REFUSE to play on that field until it is fixed. The seams in that RUG looked like trenches. Shameful!!!

Faced with losing a season's revenue, I am sure that the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission would react quickly.
