I'm sorry I have been gone. It's not that I'm a fairweather fan, it's just that I only care about this team when they are good... wait.
lol jk. I have been keeping an eye on them, but I'm so disgusted by what I'm seeing that I dont see the point of being negative about it every day. My Mom told me if I dont have anything nice ta say, dont say nothin at all.
Then I heard about the debacle in Boston... sigh
Oh well, lets continue to screw the Mets out of their wild card berth so I can keep taunting my New Yorker friend. That's always fun.

Your friend is from New York but is a mets fan? The jokes should write themselves. I hate the Yankees but if I was from New York you better beleive id root for them.
It's like, no one in Chicago cares the White Sox won the World Series 10 years ago, and the Cubs haven't won squat in over 100 years. Nobody cares about the white sox.

I come from NY so can offer some insight here... The NY metro area/tri-state area(NY, CT & NJ) are generally aligned as such:
New York: Manhattan - Yankees
Bronx - Yankees
Queens - Mets
Brooklyn - split
Long Island - Mets
Westchester County - Yankees
CT: South of New Haven - Yankees
North of New Haven - Red Sox
New Jersey: Who cares! [emoji12][emoji12]
