Did anyone notice all of those over rated head cases from the University of Miami going to all of those terrible teams. Hee Hee.

6 #1 picks.
6 by the 21st pick.
Still no U of Miami player on the Cards.
Green passed up need and BPA for a buddy pick.

Ya think Wilfork minds taking Washington's place on the Patriots and being passed up by Bears for Harris. Don't think so.

Hey Skorp! What happened to Winslow? Fell all the way to 6th. Ta da!

And I'm glad. No Miami players for me please.

Was Winslow a need? Was safety a need? Was massively reaching for Wilfork wise?

None of the Miami players were a better value or a bigger need than the BPA, Larry Fitzgerald.

That was so biased. Was Winslow a need . Yes . Freddie Jones is a waste. Can't block worth a damn.

Was safety a need. Yes. When your CBs , safety and LBs blow.

Roy Williams was the BPA , not Fitz, the 4th best receiver.

Wilfork. No.

You don't want a Miami player, yet 6 other teams had no problem. They must be dumber than a bag of rocks.

You might be in denial mode.

Regardless of the "buddy" pick, I think Fitz is a good choice.

At least the Cards have learned their lesson when it comes to nepotism. After the Ryan fiasco, I am certainly glad that the Cards did not draft Luke McCown. Better yet, they did not emulate the Giants, who drafted the head coach's son-in-law. What a mess that could be!

Attributable to a lack of referee bribe money. Stolen Nat'l. Championship to go along with the other 5 that were not stolen or the one that wasn't allowed to happen by the BCS. Jealousy is a bad lover.

:nono: Get over it. The refs weren't bribed...unless the refs are bribed for all those times I watch Florida, Florida State and Miami rip off the other team.

Wally,

How you can call Fitzgerald the 4th best WR is beyond me. Your bias against him is getting old. That may be your opinion but I am beginning to think your opinion only matters to you.

As for U of Miami--who the F cares that we didn't draft one. Winslow is a head case, Taylor will be a good player but I didn't see too many pubs having him rated higher than Fitzgerald, Wilfork is a bit overrated IMO but he'll do well as a back-up in New England. I wouldn't have minded Vilma or Williams though but they both were gone when we picked again.

We're all familiar with (it's all about Me) "Me-Guys.

Wally has taken this to a new level with his posts (which are all about Miami) solely covering "Mi-Guys."

Cbus brought it up. Not me. Rip his ass for awhile, if you want to be unbiased.

Yes, but he doesn't play. He just gets paychecks.

That's totally unfair. One thing that I think you can generally say about Miami players is that they want to be on the field, they want to play well, and they want to be recognized as one of the finest players at their position.

Duane's been injured, but the moment he steps on the field, he'll still be Arizona's best cornerback.

That statement was my concession to the previous posters who stated that I am a homer for Miami players. I felt obligated to give something back. I will not agree , publically on your favorable statements about Miami players, due to the skewed judgement I possess. ;)

Teflon man has spoken.

" The problem with you guys is you think not getting caught in a lie is the same as teling the truth"

Robert Redford as Joe Hunter in " 3 Days of the Condor" to Higgins ( Cliff Robertson ).
