you don't even want to know. it all started with a legal battle with Trauma, which we won and lost and if that doesn't make sense, don't worry, nothing else I'd tell you re: the naming of the show would either.

trust me. it was out of our hands.

Bruckheimer Drama Gets a New Name

CBS has settled on name for its new Jerry Bruckheimer hospital-based drama.

The series formerly known as "Miami Trauma" will now go by the title of (drumroll, please)... "Miami Medical." The series continues to focus on top doctors trying to save lives.

CBS is no doubt hoping the new name will avoid any viewer confusion with "Trauma," the failed NBC medical drama currently on hiatus.
