Perhaps the Suns are looking at Redd as much for next season as this season. I know, scary as well, but why not see if they can rehab him.
Everybody who was worried about the Suns delaying the rebuilding process can now relax. They are currently one of the 4 or 5 worst teams in the NBA. I'm just grateful that they didn't trade anymore first round picks during the last few years.
They should have a LOT of ping pong balls in the hopper come next summer.
This is impossible... The worst a team can drop is 3 spots below their ranking... so if we have the 3rd worst record then the lowest we can pick is 6th.Knowing the suns luck, we'll have one of the worst records in the league and pick 10+

Stern will make an exception for us.
He's take the Suns pick and give it to the Hornets!
Because it could potentially make the Suns better?Bad move by our GM.

Yes, making our draft position worse. He also takes minutes from younger players. He is not part of the future solution, and there is not present hope.
It's fine to be an old team if you're pushing all your chips in for one last push....this ain't that....
They aren't an old team.
Nope, just stocked with guys that should be between 6-10 in an NBA rotation. Now if we could just get a couple decent starters...
Aside from Hill, Nash, and Redd -- and Redd doesn't really count -- the Suns' oldest player is Warrick at 29. They aren't an old team.
You guys are acting like Michael Redd is a joke lol. The dudes a baller, when healthy. And if being healthy is the biggest knock against him, look at what the Suns Med Staff did to Steve Nash, Grant Hill, Amare Stoudemire, etc. I know some want higher pick, but if this team is gonna fight to win some games, I'm gonna watch no matter what the record is. If they don't even want to try, I would just not watch games till they did. Why should I care if they wont? (But the latter has yet to be the case)
When will Redd be ready to play?
It looks like Redd will make his debut Thursday or Friday in home games against the Cavaliers and/ or Nets. See link below.
Also it looks like the Suns home court will get another finish to make it grab more.
