You are entitled to your opinion. The guy has served his time, served his suspension, and done all that has been asked of him to deserve the 2nd chance he is now getting.

If you choose to never veiw Vick as simply a football player then you miss out on the things a guy like Andy Reid sees including a guy that has the 4th highest passer rating in the NFL right now, which is ahead of the likes of Drew Brees. He can never change what has happened in the past. All he can do is do everythijng that has been asked of him which he has. Some choose to cling to things beyond the football field when discussing Vick and so be it. Your loss.

Anybody that could do the things he did will not change, it is a part of what he is. he has just learned to cover it up.

Again you are certainly entitled to your opinion. As it stands now the guy has done his time and has done all that has been asked of him and he is now making the most of his 2nd chance.

Myself persoanlly I'm ready to move forward and view him purely as a football player and discuss what he brings to the field of play rather than continue to dwell on what he has done in the past off the field. He's already suffered the consequences of his actions and is moving forward with his life and caeer and doing quite well.

this is a great move from a coaches perspective. I always thought that coaches should play the QB with the hot hand. It is silly to limit yourself b/c you have this rule where "no one losses their job due to injury"

Fact is Vick has the hot hand and is playing well right now. He should get the start

I couldn't agree with Nidan more. I would hate it if the Cardinals ever signed Vick.

This needed to be said.

I talked with a guy last night who was an LSD and heroin addict back in the 60s and 70s. He had to hit rock bottom before he could pick himself up. He went to jail for possession with intent to distribute narcotics. He did his time, realized he needed to make a change and hasnt touched any drugs since.

Society gave this man a 2nd chance. Now, he serves the underprivileged community on skid row in Los Angeles.

Sure you are entitled to your opinion, but if you screwed up royally, wouldnt you want a 2nd chance to make it up and become a better person?

I sure would....

I'm not sure I'd want Vick the human being playing for the Cards, but I do believe he could be a changed person. The heinousness of a crime doesn't preclude someone from changing--change isn't easy for anyone, but it CAN be done.
