Who the heck believes anything that comes out of Jurecki's mouth?? I mean really? The guy is easily wrong more than he is right.

Well I'd believe him more than me, you or most anyone else on this board.

If you are going to muck it, don't half ass it. Scrap the whole thing and get a young guy like David Shaw and let him work it out. He at least has more head coaching experience than Ray Horton.

I think Shaw would be an excellent hire.

But do you just let Horton walk?

Which is what probably 90% of the fan base wants & most of them want Horton as its HC

I just want this team to play well again and make the playoffs again. That is not happening the way things are going now.

Wolfley keeps saying that Whisenhunt brings stability and consistency to the organization. What a joke.

"sellout" is just eye candy. Thats the cheap seats which is all that is counted. The big money are IE club and luxury boxes are almost empty and the only area that the Bidwills get to keep 100% of the revenue in releation to ticket sales.

So why they may be "sold out" they clearly arent rolling in the dough as they should. Clearly their fault though since they havent done enough to fill those seats.

this is BS. They still rolling in dough just by being in the NFL. And like you said, there's a reason they aren't selling those club/luxury seats... because for the overwhelming majority of the last three years, they've put an atrocious product on the field.

it's been proven that when they're winning and contending the place is packed. so if they need to spend the money and eat a contract on a Coach who's making a mockery out of the team, then they need to do it.

Well he has proven he can win with one who's pretty good.

yeah... here's the problem even with that. Cardinals fans are so used to losing that a 9-7/10-6 are looked at as the prize ring. Those are AVERAGE to below average seasons for true Super Bowl contenders. We had one AMAZING run, helped along by arcane rules that somehow gave the team with the worst record in the playoffs two home games and got a lot of luck to go our way to get those two home games. That's not to say the playoff run wasn't incredible, but the glory days winning an average of 9.5 games really isn't all that much to write home about if you look at the bigger picture of the NFL.

MJ & Bickley also are talking about the possibility of Wiz purposely setting himself up to be fired because of possible friction of not wanting to fire some of his staff & even friction within ownership.

IF that where true, then Whiz is an arrogant man.

What make him think he is safe ?

The 6 game losing streak he has on his record, the 7 game losing streak, or the current 8 game one ?

There's a lot of desirable HC jobs rumored to be open at season end. Whisenhunt will undoubtedly be a hot candidate. If one were to be fired now this is the best season for it.

The Jake Plummer excuse huh?

Yep. It has gotten to that point.

You see, Jake Plummer? That guy was awesome. All he needed where better offensive linemen, better wide receivers, a better run game, and a better defense.

That's all, and he would win you some games like he did in Denver.

Whiz ?

All he needs is a Hall of Fame QB that can run his own offense on Sundays. That's all. You know, a Tom Brady, or Drew Brees, or Aaron Rogers. You know. Not too much.

The unfortunate thing is that NO OTHER COACH IN OUR DIVISION seems to have the same problem.

Man, I feel bad for who ever the QB on that team is.

I agree. What else explains not pulling a QB at the half whose 8-24 after the game he had in Stl? Seriously who has ever done that as an NFL coach? Unless Wiz truly wants to be fired...stubborn or not, no NFL HC continues playing a QB after a 2 game stretch like that Rugby. It's really mind boggling to me:bang:

I'm not so sure about that. His handling of the QB situation over the last three years has been an epic disaster. I'm sure other teams have taken notice.

I don't think he needs a HOF QB, just one that doesn't completely and unequivocally suck. I could go either way on firing Whiz because it has become clear that he's the guy picking the QB's but this team isn't that far away. This isn't McGinnis riding out the string in 2003.

I guarantee you, CT, Ken Whisenhunt will never get another NFL head coaching job, nor will he ever get an NFL OC job.

This is about where I am. Matter of fact, if he really has had the full power to choose his QB's, I'd definitely fire him. By full power though I mean that he's had the financial support to go after his first target. If he's had decision making power but lacked control of the purse strings and if that in any way shaped our pursuit of Kolb or inhibited our attempt to bring in Manning, I'm still okay with firing him but I'd like to see whoever was in his way shown the door too.
