Rumor is Trier will miss 2 more games and then be reinstated. UA still hasn't said why and probably won't but the claim is he'll be back for game 5.

If it's really PED's UA has to be feeling good they got a 4 game suspension for something that by rule is a full calendar year unless it's a false positive or the athlete had a waiver to use the substance. The problem with the waiver theory is if he did, there's not supposed to be a suspension at all.

If true I guess Santa Clara is his first game. Sort of fits he was in sweats the last game and clearly engaged in the game.

Yeah I heard 2 more games and then was told it was from a fake Twitter account parodying PGU. And now PGU is saying he's back now, no more suspension. And Paula Boivin is saying she got an email from Arizona today that says they still can't comment and there is no new news on Trier.

Very weird, and if he's not playing Monday that doesn't clear it up since the rumor was game 5 not game 4.

I fully believed the rumor because he was in sweats the last game on teh bench, but then Fridays game Boivin says he was in street clothes again not sweats.

He just keeps blasting the regular media for not having the story but if he's right ok, if he's wrong, then he'll just say well they changed their minds. And again if he's right, he's insisting he broke the story even though fake PGU twitter actually did.

And he's being himself again, after a day of saying Zo is back with no qualifiers at all. And a full day of there being a thread on HIS board where they listed Zo in the who's going to be the high scorer today poll, when someone points out Trier isn't playing what does he say?

He's backtracking even more now. Now he's saying who else but PGU can guarantee that Zo will play at some point this season? People are just mad because PGU broke it.

well you didn't break it fake PGU twitter did. And now you've gone from he's back, to he's cleared they're waiting on a release, to he'll play at some point this year and when he does, we broke it.

They also have people on the site saying Ace is going to "go savage" on the media today which implies the announcement will be today, so if that happens he's taking credit for something fake PGU said 2 days earlier than him, and if it doesn't happen he'll just insist he didn't actually say the announcement is coming today.

I looked at Scheer's twitter page because someone told me he had info on Trier. It was all from last night before the game and he's basically just making fun of Ace. If you're cleared you play, you don't wait around a few more games. Hey congrats you're 38% cleared. He's been practicing all along if he's cleared he'd be playing that's what cleared means. I see he and Ace are still buddies.

This is getting really funny if you're not an arizona fan. Now Ace reports Trier did NOT board the plane to Vegas so he won't play against SCU but "we expect him to be on the court by Gonzaga." So that means won't play against SCU or the next game which looks like Texas Southern. Still no press release even though he said to look for one in the next 2 days which was by Tuesday. And still touting that he BROKE the story. And one of his pieces of evidence is Zo "liked" a post he made saying Zo was back.

Scheer continues to amuse saying no he's not cleared and then saying someone needs to get this dude(ACE) a time machine presumably because his Tue announcement date has come and gone.

It's like that old Chevy Chase gag on SNL, "Allonzo Trier is still dead" except substitute not suiting up.

And notice the wording, he says ON THE COURT by Gonzaga, which presumably means if hes' in street clothes or sweats again he'll just say hey, he's on the court.

He's actually not an Adidas kid, he played for his dads AAU team he really had no shoe affiliation.

If you wanted him you should have done what half the Pac 12 tried to do, tell the dad you'd take both brothers, that's why UCLA wound up taking them both, Romar started it but several other schools did it too so Alford essentially had to take them.

Man has he been worth it so far, in a normal year he'd be a shoo in for FOTY and possibly even POY in the conference but with Fultz and Markkanen around he probably won't win either unless UCLA somehow wins the conference.

Well everyone makes it seems like shoe companies have a significant impact in recruiting but it's probably overblown. Lonzo is pretty special and TJ Leaf has looked good offensively.

OH Adidas had a huge influence on recruiting with Leaf, Anigbogu, Hands, Hill all coming from the same Adidas backed program, just saying Lonzo was the rare kid who didn't do that. He skipped most of the big shoe company events it's why he was usually underrrated in HS, it was quite often he was rated 5th or 6th among PG's in this class, his whole junior year Kobi Simmons was rated ahead of Lonzo at PG and he's not even a PG. It's just that Lonzo didn't play in the big events where you get rated.

The problem so far is the conference isn't playing all that well, too many bad losses OOC.

Pitino, Self and a few other big time coaches are in the crowd. They're probably there for the next game featuring the great Cody Riley and his lesser sidekick Marvin Bagley.

I watched the 2nd half, Riley had a nice 4th quarter but Bagley is superhuman, a bigger Ed O'Bannon without the knee injury.

I love Langford but Bowen surprised me, he's always been a really good midrange shooter, UCLA recruited him hard but got Wilkes, but he was raining 3's in that game. Terrific player if UA can get him would be a huge get.
